Chapter 8

Claire

I walked into my office to see the two elders waiting for me and i knew what they wanted. Ever since my parents died they have been wanting me to give up my pack thinking i couldn't do it and this was their last chance to try but i would never give them my home.

"What is it this time." I had no manners to people who wanted to take my home and family.

"We came to ask you help we now know that the Silver Crest pack has a good Alpha so we now need your help and the other alphas nearby." Elder Logan said

"We have heard that the witches are coming and they are working with the other creatures to kill us all. If we don't work together this might be the end of all wolves as we know it." Elder Rebecca said 

"Okay, Do we have numbers yet, " I asked and then told Micheal to send Ally, Charlie, and Austin to come to me cuz this is their problem also and to ask Dustin and him to stay with the kids. "Also today must be your lucky day cuz I have the other three alphas here today." Right after saying that they came in and turned serious very quickly. 

We told them what was happening and i saw Austin not looking surprised.

"Austin may i talk to you outside," he nodded and I began to walk away."Austin you don't seem like this is news to you."

"Before i came to talk to you to came here i called my Grandma and she told me something and now hearing this i now know she was right" He began to explain what was happening and Everything clicked for me.

When i was a little girl my nana used to call me a little star and told me it wasn't only a nickname. She uses to say i was a child of the stars and was born from a star and that there are somethings i will learn when im older. I want to know more but i knew i was on my own to find answers.  

"It all makes sense. So I'm a Queen?" I was still a little lost and now i was just wanting answers

'We are a Queen, Claire, On your 18th birthday, you will understand. I'm sorry i never told you but I became your wolf when you were six years old.' Rin spoke and she seemed sad that she didn't tell me.

"I was born a Queen..." I said aloud, "Rin said that this is the way i was born. And it all makes sense. How could i be so dumb? Like im and silver and blue wolf, there is no other wolf like that it makes sense." I started to cry because i didn't know what to do.

"Are you okay Claire," Austin asks and all i can do is nodded my head and look away.

"Let everyone know i will be back in a little while i need some space." I began to walk away and i saw the worried look on his face and i felt bad. I went behind a tree and turned into my wolf. I came into Austin's view and i saw his eyes grow and mouth 'beautiful'. I turned and started running. I kept running and soon came to my favorite meadow where my parents were buried because at this moment i needed them close even if they were gone i needed to tell them everything and just be alone.

Ally

I see Claire's beautiful wolf start running and i know she's going to visit her parents grave. I knew she was hurt but i didn't understand why and now i needed to know what was happening. 

Austin walks back into the room and i quickly walk up to him.

"What did you say to her she looked like she was going to cry. Did you hurt her!" I start to yell and my wolf wants to punch something. I knew he was my mate but at this moment i was angry and wanted blood from whoever hurt my Claire. 

"No, we just found out that she is 10X more special than anyone thought. Her wolf is called a Starlight and it's supposed to be a Queen type and thats why we are the way we are and when she hits 18 our wolves will be changing. I had my beta look into it. I'll explain more later once we have old and older gone." He said and pointed to the two Elders in the room. Elder Logan looked like he wanted more information but did not push knowing Alpha Austin wasn't going to talk till he's ready.
