Chapter 4

Claire

I'm running with Micheal and trying to think of what to do. I feel like i can't breathe and i stop running and turn around to my secret place. Micheal tried to follow me but when i wanted to run there was no catching me.

"Claire where are you going." Micheal mind linked me

"Go away Micheal i want to be alone for a while. I'll be home before its dark," i say and then block the link to him and open one to my sister. "Sis meet me in our spot. But make sure your alone cuz i don't know if i can handle anyone else talking to me at the moment."

"Give me a minute I'll be there very soon sis i promise."

I closed the link and started to see my siblings hiding spot. When Raina and I were six years old we found a small cabin in the middle of the woods we fixed it up with our moms help she promised that she would never tell anyone where it was and she never did. during our repairs, we found a panic room which my mom had someone fix for us but the three people who fixed it was humans and the never came back since then. In the small cabin, we had everything we ever wanted. We had a full kitchen with a stove and everything. In the panic room was a tunnel to our house so we could go back and forth without anyone seeing us leave. we had enough beds not only for me and Raina but also Emily, Sarah, and Hunter. We have video games, books, and a full study. The house itself is like a panic room it had a number lock on the door and all the windows are bulletproof. Our mother wanted to make sure we were safe at all times.

I walked up to the house and I punch in my code. Once i enter i turn on the cameras that are outside and look around like I normally do. I look in the tunnel cam and see my sister running down the hall. she gets to the panic room door and i buzz her in so she doesn't need to put in her code because I see someone is behind her and she knows it. she enters the room and shuts the door quickly. I keep an eye on the tunnel cam and i see who it is. It's Ally. She somehow knew to follow my sister to out secret location i sat there for and min and decided to ask her why she was there. I turned on the microphone.

"Why are you here Ally?" I ask

"Where are you? I want to see you please let me see you, Claire."

"If you're still here later I will see you then i only want my twin right now please go back, for now, I'm not ready to talk at the moment." i turn off the mic and i see Ally look really sad. she walks away and i hear a door downstairs open.

I walked into the living room after turning on the motion censers mostly because i felt like someone was following me but i wasn't sure but i would rather be safe. My sister walked into the room and saw me sitting on the couch and as soon as i saw her i started crying. She ran over to me and sat next to me and just held me.

"It's okay sis. Please stop crying." she kept repeating that and just held me and i slowly calmed down. " Now tell me why were you crying, sis."

I sat there for a moment and then decided to talk. "I'm scared, sis. I found my mate too early and I know I'm not ready to be with them and what if they don't want me or because I'm not ready what if they don't want to wait for me and forget me or reject me and I'm left mateless because they don't want to love me or wait for me." I said while tears going down my cheeks.

My sister just sat there and listened. She didn't say anything to me. I began to cry harder until i felt sleepy. I walked out of the living room towards the little bedroom that was there.

Raina

Once Claire walked into the bedroom i walked back downstairs to the tunnel. I entered the house and walked to where my sister's mates were because i had some things to say to them and they had no choice but to listen.
