The outsider girls

Chapter 4

We continue to walk around until it's almost 3 then we walk to the diner to meet up with Lollipop and Steph. The diner looks nice...the inside wasn't bad either. Both Socs and Greasers were in and all of them were looking at us. I get it's a small town but geez, don't need to stare when someone new is in town. We look around and see Darcy hugging Lolli and Steph, we walk up to them and sit down at a booth.
"So, how was it?" Jem asked
"Like we need to guess." Katelyn said
"Yup, you're looking at the two new waitresses of Dingos." Lolli said ecstatic
"Why do you both love waiting on people." Dolly said
" I don't think I can handle being at someone's beck and call."
" Good tips, good pay, and a little bit of hours." Steph said
" How did you scoop that?" I said
"I'm just good at negotiating." Steph said
" Well then, shakes on me." Dolly said
We stayed there for a good few hours until we decided to start heading to the drive-in. We each drew straws to see who would be in the car and who would sneak in and sit at the seats. It was almost like a tradition in our group the only person who hasn't drew that they would have to seek in was Darcy, I swear one of these day she will have to sneak in. I was going to have to sneak in with Jem and Dolly, so we snuck in using a hole we saw a few boys using, it was pretty dark so we couldn't get a good look at them.
"I'm going to see the girls, go find some seats for us." Dolly
We do as we are told the only seats left were behind three boys. When we sat down Dolly came with some cokes and popcorn. Then one of the boys in front of us must've started something with a girl with red hair because she started to say "Get lost hood!" then he left, she then started to pick up a conversation with the two other boys.
We usually don't get into anyone's business but it was hard not too, we overheard their conversation and a little while later the guy name Dally came back with cokes and handed one to Cherry, big mistake because she ended up throwing it back on him some of it even landed on my shoes! When things started to escalate the quiet boy named Johnny stepped in.
"Leave her alone, Dally" he said  
The other boy started to get mad, but then when he was about to storm off he look at where we were sitting. I thought he would get mad at us for listening in, but then he made eye contact with Dolly. She was staring back at him with her eyes being all flirty but still retained their " I can kill you in a matter of seconds" look. He smirked at her as she sipped her coke then... left.
We just tried to ignore them after another one of their friends showed up his name was Two Bit. After the movie we walked out and was greeted by Katelyn. She told us that the group was waiting on us outside and that she would escort us to the vehicle. We started to walk until we saw a confrontation with the same group of boys and a couple of Socs, the boys had switchblades and a bottle that was broken at the end. We just stayed there until it was over then we went one our way.
" What took you guys so long?" Darcy asked
" Just a little show on the side nothing much." Dolly said
" Anybody get hurt?" Steph asked
" Not that I know of." Dolly said
"Anybody up for a cruz at night?" Lolli asked
We all agreed and started the journey. After all how bad can the night get.
