As the smell of gunpowder fills your nostrils, you and your friend, Clinical Crosser, wipe out everyone else in Titled Towers. All that is left is you, her, and the silences of the night sky. You two have been hanging out for awhile at this point so you know each other pretty well, but to you she was more than that. Every time she is in your presence you cant help but fall for her. She is a very rough person, yet she has a soft side she doesn't show to her other friends, except for me. Whenever we go to her house south of the soccer stadium, she always vents her frustrations towards me. It's usually "those damn planes" or "I want the mini gun taken off the island". After all the venting she calms down and we have some time together peacefully. It sounds nice, but I never have built up the courage to tell her I like her, she always says her thoughts out loud and never keeps things hidden. If she liked me shoe would've said something. Oh well, at least she's my friend.

"Hey Y/N, ready to head out?" She said as she scared you out of your deep thinking.

"Oh, Yeah Cross, I'll be right there." Cross is the nickname I gave her a couple days ago in hopes that she would see that as a sign.

"Stop calling me that. I'm here to win, not joke around." She said clearly blushing at the name.

As you both start to walk into Pleasant Park, you hear a plane dive bombing into your area. Cross quickly builds over the enemy and pushes them with out me, Classic move. This causes her to get knocked with me quickly following. We go back to her house and sit down. You look at Cross who was beginning to cry. You put your arm over her shoulder and ask what's wrong.

"Dammit Y/N, why can't we win, just once!" She looked at you with her makeup beginning to run down her cheeks.

"Well, at least we didn't die, I don't know what I would do without you." You reply, still helping

"Really? I don't understand why, I'm a terrible person, why would you not want to lose me?" You pick her hand up and rub the tears off her cheeks.

"Because I-I like you, and I know you don't like me but I just want you to know that I have your back." You were barely able to say that without choking on your words. She put her hands on your neck and pulled you into a passionate kiss that lasted for what seemed like forever. She let go and looked into your eyes.

"I've always liked you Y/N, I just never said anything for the same reason." Cross said as she kissed you again.

"I love you Cross."

"Love you too, Y/N."
