CHAPTER 7

Lauren rushed in and let the door bang behind her, startling Logan
This was unusual of her, startling him even more

" Logan - Logan - they are coming, they are coming Logan"
She cried , collapsing on him with terrified teary eyes

" Lauren - hey honey calm down and talk to me properly, who is coming? Whats going on?" he asked

" Logan-Logan we are doomed , there is a pack upon us, they seem so many and so strong and so ruthless, i even sensed their use of witchcraft.We are doomed Logan, what are we going to do?" she asked breaking into fresh tears

" Wait what - what are you talking about, I'm still not getting you, what did we do wrong?" Logan enquired

" They-they carry the body of that young wolf-------- the one Dylan disobeyed you and killed"

Logan jumped out of bed
" Dylan, where is Dylan?"

" He-he-he gathered a few wolves to go meet them, he felt he could curb it before it got any closer" she answered crying harder.

"No-no-no, that utterly stupid son of mine, he's going to get himself killed" he groaned

Then turning to his wife
" Quick, gather as many of the people as you can, you've got to get out of here, get them all to our nearest hideout, we'll meet you there"

Lauren rushed out, Logan got dressed and stood at the window for a while, he could almost hear the chaos, smell the smoke, taste the blood.

Dylan had always been disobedient , but maybe it was his fault, for allowing him yo live as he wished. He stepped out to  meet Lauren gathering the people, they all looked terrified and confused, living in peace for so long had gotten them soft, he knew this, he knew again it was his and only his fault.
He cleared his throat to attract attention
" I'm sure you all are already aware of the situation here, I sincerely apologize. Your Luna here will take you yo a hideout we've prepared for times like this, you'll wait for me to go get the rest of our men who are defending us right now so we can move to a safer place. No need to worry, I'm sure its nothing really serious and it'll be over really soon.

Lauren took him aside
" Please make sure Dylan is safe, please bring him back"
He nodded stiffly,
" ill try my best"
"Be safe" she urged

" You too"

With one final hug and a light kiss , they parted.

He started running towards the looming battle. Not long after he saw wolves running towards him, he didn't need any powers yo know they were the troops sent out to curb it. They stopped when they got to him

" Whats going on , what happened?" he asked

A wolf stepped out to address him
" We - we couldn't stop them, in fact we couldn't do anything, we were powerless against them"

Logan scanned the crowd
" Where is Dylan? Where is he?" he growled

They all looked around.They hadn't even realized he was not with them. Everyone knew what had happened but no one dared say it
Logan swallowed painfully
" The rest of the pack is moving to the first hideout, you guys hurry and go join them, Ill be back soon so we can move somewhere safer, I'm going to find my son, or what is left of him, that is "

He quickly set of, he run for awhile but he soon got there, the house around had been burnt, there seemed to be little killing but his gut told him they where nowhere near done.

He sniffed deeply
" Dylan, Dylan where are you?" he called

He finally smelt him, he run towards the smell. He first met Dylan's body without a head, moving further, he saw his head hanging on a sword stuck in the ground.

" Oh no" he whispered
He was in trouble now, big trouble.It wasn't over, in fact it was nowhere near over.
That pack had declared war, and he was no where near ready for it.

Okay so the disobedient son dies
Boo -hoo -hoo😲
Its still Logan I'm worried about, poor guy.
