CHAPTER 8

The bell finally rang signalling the end of lessons for the day, Freya let out a huge yawn as she packed her books and dragged herself wearily out of the class and finally out of the school. She couldn't stop yawning as she made her way to the dorm, she was very tired, unusually tired. The place was so noisy , her head hurt

"Boo! Gotcha" Gwen booed jumping in front of her suddenly
Freya lifted her head with some difficulty, still yawning
"Hi"

" Hey whats wrong, are u ill?" Gwen asked quite worried

Freya shook her head
" No-no I'm  not, just a bit tired and really really sleepy" she said yawning very loudly

Gwen took a good look at her, she did look tired
" That's unusual, you slept throughout lessons today, and you are still tired? Maybe we should see the school nurse"

Freya shook her head, waving a finger as another yawn came through
" No Gwen, i need my bed, thank you very much" she said walking away, Gwen followed.

They suddenly bumped into someone, causing him to drop his  stuff ,they looked up, it was the  school geek, Raymond. He quickly bent down trying to gather his stuff, Raymond was having a very hard time as he had papers flying everywhere

" I'm-I'm so sorry ladies, i guess i wasn't looking as i walked" he apologised

" Oh don't worry, it was our fault too u know" Freya said bending to help him, Gwen frowned trying to pull her away, but she ended up helping too, she picked one print on vampires. Freya caught her eyes just then, Gwen twisted her hand close to her brain and quietly mouthed
" See, i told you he was crazy"

They finally gathered everything together and handed it to him
"Thank you so much, i appreciate it"
they stood to watch him go, now it was Gwen's turn to sigh
" Such a right name for a wrong guy,if only he had a bit of handsomeness to his cuteness"

Freya giggled
"He is handsome, its just the glasses and the untidy hair"

" You find him handsome?" Gwen asked with a lifted eyebrows
"Yes, kind of" Freya answered, then leaning in, inquired teasingly, wiggling her eyebrows
"Is someone jealous?"

" What?! Me ?!---No!. Freya be serious here, i just think his name is cute that's all,besides he's too superstitious and almost crazy. Everyone knows he believes in stuff like witches, werewolves and vampires. Oh and ghosts too, he's actually going around saying this school has one .See, who does that?" Gwen defended

Freya seemed to think for a while, then asked
" What if they are real?"
Gwen looked at her bewildered, and gingerly touched her forehead. Nodding knowingly she said
" Yes its a fever, you are much worse than i thought, we need to get to the school nurse fast"
Freya swatted her had away , playfully irritated
"We do not, I'm fine Gwen"

" Oh really? It was quite hard to tell" Gwen teased sweetly

"Oh my God" Freya suddenly gasped looking up

Gwen's gaze shot up too
" Why? Whats there?" she asked
Freya pointed this time
" On the roof, there was a man on the roof, and he was looking right at us"

Gwen sighed again
"Don't tell me you are seeing things too, what'll a man be doing up that high?"

"No I swear, there was a man there, looking down at us" Freya defended strongly

" Well he's not there now lets forget it, i thought you were tired?" Gwen asked

" Yeah i am, really" she admitted yawning

"Lets go on then" Gwen ended taking her hand .

They soon stopped in their tracks when they spotted Ethan, who was not one bit of a delight to look at, and was at the moment rushing inside, so he could get out of the hated sun, the red blotches on his skin getting brighter looking more painful and hideous by the second. Surprisingly, he stopped in his tracks when he spotted them, his eyes fixed on Freya
