Heartbreak – part 8
Emily’s POV
It’s been a week since the party. Tom and Steph are talking now but not like they used to. No one has spoken to Jack, Rachel or Hollie since the party so no one knows what is going on. Today Tom and Chris are planning to go to Jack’s to find out what is going on so I’m going to invite the girls over.
Rachel’s POV
I’m so nervous; I haven’t seen the girls in a week. I have something on my mind, something I need to tell someone. I’m sure the girls will listen, well I hope so.
(At Emily’s)
Steph’s POV
Me, Emily, Hollie, Rachel and Ellie are here. No one knows what is going on with Jemma, all she said was she just couldn’t come. I wonder what is going on with everyone.
Rachel’s POV
I’m so scared, I need to tell someone, so why don’t I do it now while I’m with all the girls.
Rachel: Can I talk to you girls please.
Others: Yeah sure what’s wrong?
Rachel: Girls, there has been a reason why I haven’t been around for a week, I’ve had something on my mind and just need to tell someone...
Hollie: Rachel, what's wrong, you know you can tell us.
Rachel: Yeah, I know, it’s just... I’m pregnant.
Ellie: Wow, Rachel, how long have you known?
Rachel: About two weeks.
Emily: That's why you weren’t yourself at the party.
Steph: Wait, Rachel does Jack know?
Rachel: No, I didn’t know how to tell him or how he would react. We haven’t been getting on that well at the moment so I want to leave it and see what happens between us first.
Emily: Okay guys we all need to stay quiet about this so Jack doesn’t find out until Rachel is ready to tell him.
Everyone: Okay!
Emily’s POV
I need to say something about what I seen now! I need to get Jemma to confess to what she done to Rachel, she needs to know.
(Two hours later all the girls have gone home Steph has gone to stay at Hollies)
Still Emily’s POV
I need to talk to Jemma; she needs to tell Rachel about the kiss, she has the right to know.
Jemma’s POV
*phone rings*
Jemma: Hello?
Emily: Hello, Jemma, its Emily.
Jemma: Oh hey Emily, what's up?
Emily: Do you want to go to Starbucks; I need a coffee and a chat?
Jemma: Yeah okay, what time?
Emily: Meet me in ten minutes.
Jemma’s POV
I’m in Starbucks waiting for Emily. What does she want to talk about, it sounds serious. I hope she hurries up so I can find out.
(Door opens and Emily walks in and sits beside Jemma)
Jemma: Hey Emily, you wanted to talk to me?
Emily: Look I’m just going to come right out and say it, (whispers) I seen you kiss Jack at the party the other night, I think you should tell Rachel.
Jemma: I don’t want to though, nothing else has happened.
Emily: I know you are avoiding everyone because of it and everyone wants to know what is going on. Jemma, it’s just better if you tell Rachel.
Jemma: I really don’t think she needs to know though.
Emily: Just tell her, I will give you a week and if you don’t I will.
