Chapter 4: A Date and A Plan

WITH DAIGO WAITING FOR (Y/N)
DAIGO POV
I'm waiting outside for (y/n) to get out of school. I was planning on taking both of us to the amusement park down the street. Then I heard a rustling in the bushes. I was interested so I followed the noise.
The noise kept getting louder, but it wasn't near the bush. Turning around a blind fold came over my face and I got dragged somewhere. "W-who are you?!" I said trying to sound brave. I got no answer. Where was I going, what was going On!
The blindfold finally came off me and I got pushed into a closet. When I smelled the disgusting, pungent smell I knew i was in the janitors closet. I turned around and saw that the door was completely looked. "What was going on here!" Pounding on the door I took put my phone. (y/n) was supposed to be meeting me by now. I opened up my phone and saw I had no connection. Nothing, I've got nothing!
"Great! Now (y/n)'s going to kill me. She's probably gonna think I abandoned her." I hit my hand against my head sitting back down. "I can't do anything."

YOUR POV
I was waiting for Daigo at the meeting spot for five, then fifteen, then thirty minutes. Nothing, no text or note. Then I saw Shu walk by. "Hey (y/n). Where's Daigo? I thought he was going to meet you here." Shu said with a bit of concern on his voice.
"I thought so to Shu. Have you seen him?" I asked trying to find out where my black-haired friend was.
"Nope. Not since school (y/n)." This sent sorrow into my body. Did he forget about me? I started to tear up. "Woah woah woah, (y/n) relax. I'm sure he'll come eventually." Shu said and pulled me into a hug to try and calm me down.
"I've been waiting here for thirty minutes Shu! He's not going to show up." I couldn't hold in my tears and cried out into Shu's shirt. He began to rub circles on my back, trying to comfort me as best as possible.
"Hey, it's going to be okay (y/n)." Why whispered in his low voice. "How about this, I could bring you out on a hangout."
"Like a date Shu?" I asked backing up a bit.
"No, no. That's not what I meant. I mean we could hang out since Daigo didn't show up." I thought about this for a moment. Go and hang out with my past bully that seems nice, or wait longer for someone who isn't going to show up and have nothing to do tonight.
"Sure Shu, why not!" I said, a smile plastered on my face. With that Shu took my hand and lead me downtown. Looking around it was on the verge of night with the sunset going down and lights turning on. My face gave an awe expression. Why saw this and smiled back at me.
"I assume you don't get out much (y/n)?" He said with a tiny chuckle. I gave a pouty face as a reply to his comment. "Okay okay, I'll lay off."
After a bit of walking we got to an amusement park. All the lights were on and it was beautiful. Shu brought me to a stand with my (f/f) (favorite food). He bought me and himself some. I happily ate the food and was delighted to see everything else that was there.
"Hey, how about we go on a rollercoaster!" I suggested.
"Um, (y/n) if I remember correctly, I thought you were terrified of rollercoasters."
"No, I grew out of that fear, I think." I mumbled the last part. Then I dragged Shu to the line. We were waiting there in line for about ten minutes waiting to board. Once we both got on and sat down next to each other the terror of the rollercoaster hit me. Why did I suggest this!
The rollercoaster went all the way to the top where you could see half the amusement park. Our cart was getting ready to go down. With that I held onto the closest thing to me and held on tight shutting my eyes. After that, I let out a loud scream. "Ahhhhh!!!"
It felt like forever before the ride was over. When I got off I realized I was still grasping onto the thing I held onto earlier on the rollercoaster.
"Um (y/n), can you please let go of my arm." It was Shu. I was holding onto his arm the whole time. A blush clearly appeared on my face.
I then let and apologized for grabbing onto his arm the whole time. Shu suggested we should go to one last ride. He pointed up to the Farris Wheel. All of its lights were on and it looked amazing.

SHU'S POV
Both (y/n) and I were getting into the cart for the Farris Wheel and both got strapped in. After a good ten minutes we were half way to the top when I heard light snoring next to me with a little bit of weight on my shoulder. It was (y/n).
She looked adorable. Her (color) eyes we closed. Her lips were partly open as she continued to snore a bit. She slept there, laying on my shoulder. I wanted to kiss her so badly. So I did. I carefully leaned down trying to not wake the sleeping girl, then I did it. I kissed her on her head.
She didn't even wake up. At the top I shook her to get her to wake up. "Oh, ah! I Shu. Oh I'm so sorry about sleeping on your-" I put a finger on her lips and she stopped talking.
"Don't worry about me, just look at where we are." She looked out and smiled. Everything was lit up.
We then got down off the ride and I walked (y/n) out and brought her home. This really was the best day ever.

BACK AT SCHOOL
OPAL' S POV
School got out at two and now it's nine. "Hey should we let Daigo out of the closet, I mean it's been seven hours Opal." Vicky said.
"Okay fine! You wanna be a party pooper Mai." I said, pouting in between the sentence. I walked over to the janitors closet to unlock it. That's when Daigo feel out, sleeping.
"Should we-"
"Wake him up? No, he'll be fine in the morning." I took Mai' s hand and we walked away back to our houses.
