Chapter 1: Seeing Him Again

(You're all 14)

Reader's POV
   I was walking down the hallway getting ready to meet Mai and Opal. Today there was going to be a huge announcement. You were excited as heck!
   "Hey (y/n), you ready for this announcement! I'm going to be live streaming the whole thing on my phone for all my followers!" Opal exclaimed. You see Opal is one of those high tech teenagers, she has millions of followers from around the world. Granted she still wasn't the most popular girl in school. Opal has dirty blond hair and had purple glasses. She's short, like as short as Valt. Opal where's a t-shirt that's lavender and violet, and baggy black pants.
   Then Mai came out of my shadow. Mai is the cousin of Ukyo the shadow walker. So she scares everyone she can. Mai has jet black hair that goes all the way down to her waist. She also has a gray and blue jacket on at all times. Mai has dark black pants too.
   "Opal why would you live stream this? We're on school property. We can't record on school grounds." Mai protested.
   "I'm not recording Mai, I'm streaming!"
   "Well I think it's fine Opal. I mean no harm no foul." I explained.
   "Fine, but you both better not blame me when you both get in trouble!" Yelled Mai.
   Then suddenly someone jumped into me. "Oww!"
   "Oh I'm so sorry... wait (y/n)!?" I looked up to see someone with snow white hair and blood red eyes. It was Shu. But how, I moved schools years ago! I withdrew my hand as quick as possible and sprinted away.
   "(y/n)! Please don't go!" I can't do this. Not again. He caused me so much pain and drove me partly into depression. I almost ended my life because of him. Shu was my friend, but played with my feelings every time until I couldn't take it anymore.
   I finally stopped in the auditorium for the announcement. Until Mai came up from behind and said, "What's up with you (y/n)?"
   "I'm sorry, something happened in the past before I came to this school. It's not something to talk about here. Let's just wait for Opal and go sit down."

3rd Person POV
   "Okay everyone sit down! As you all know I'm principal Liota and if you all look around you can clearly see there are new faces around. Today myself and principal Shinota are combining schools!" (y/n)'s mood dropped majorly. 'Does that mean Shu is going to be back in my school again. I moved to this school four years ago to get away from him!' "We are doing this so that both schools can save money and this is a very great opportunity for everyone to meet new people!" Principal Liota exclaimed.
   "WOW ISN'T THIS AMAZING GUYS" Opal yelled.
   "Shush it Opal!" Mai said, a tick mark coming out of her head.
   "Now everyone back to your classes and be nice to show everyone around!" Principal Liota walked off of the stage and everyone headed to there classes.
   (y/n), Opal, and Mai walked to their A block classes. (y/n) hoping not to run into the albino again. Instead she bumped into two more familiar faces.
   "(y/n)!!!" It was the happy go lucky bluenette Valt, and Daigo standing right next to him. (y/n)'s eyes lit up. Opal and Mai were ultimately... confused. "Its so great to see you again!"
   "Umm mind explaining them too?!" Mai exclaimed very unamused with where this was going.
   "Later! Exclamation later guys!" (y/n) started. "Let me see your guy's schedules and I can show you two where to go!" After that everyone went to their first class with was all science. But with (y/n)'s luck when she got into the classroom she saw Shu, again. What could she do now?! Shu walked over to (y/n) and her friends. Luckily the science teacher walked in.
   "Hello everyone as you might know my name is Mrs. Willow, you science teacher. Now first thing we are going to start with are seating arrangements. First one (y/n) and Shu." Oh why. (The desks are conjoined so two to one desk) (y/n) sat down tentivly next to Shu. You could see a slight blush on his face and you didn't know why. You still didn't talk to him for the rest of class. Also lucky Opal and Mai they ended up next to each other, same thing with Valt and Daigo.
   Next class you went to it was only you... and Shu. "Hey (y/n), could we possibly talk about you know what..." He began to trail off. 'What to do what to do' you thought.
   Finally you answered, "Shu I don't really want to talk about this." You were still kind of scared of him as you backed away ever so slowly taking your seat as far away as you possibly could from Shu. You didn't see but Shu was on the verge of tears. He knew what he did and he wanted to make things right, but he still didn't know how.
   This class flew by like a breeze. Finally lunch came. (y/n) rushed out of the classroom trying her best to avoid Shu. (y/n) then found where Opal and Mai were sitting, now with Daigo and Valt.
   "I am loving this new transfer!!!" Valt yelled.
   "Well I guess your not the only one who can break our ear drums anymore Opal." Mai chuckled at her own comment.
   "Ha, ha, ha Mai. All of us know I'm the loudest and will always be."
   "No way Opal." Valt protest.
   Both began a full out yelling war. "So I'm just gonna... You know, get my lunch." (y/n) said.
   You went to go get your lunch in the lunch line. After you started to walk back to the table you thought to yourself. 'Why was Shu trying to talk to me. Also why do I care! He caused so much pain and depression. I don't like him, I don't want to see him.' Suddenly *BAM* Someone walked right into (y/n) while both her lunch and the person's lunch ended up on top of her.
   "I'm so sorry (y/n)!" You recognized that voice. No, don't let it be. (y/n) looked up to see none other than Shu Kurenai. He had that face again. That face of regret. After    (y/n) saw Shu's face she ran out of the cafeteria to the bathroom tears almost slipping out of her (color) eyes. Vicky and Ella followed (y/n).
   After that Valt and Daigo went over to Shu.

SHU'S POV
   'Why did I do that! The main reason I came here was to try and find (y/n) and try to apologize. This isn't working well. After (y/n) left the school I felt the biggest feeling of guilt ever. I stopped bullying her, in the first place I don't even know why I bullied her. I loved her. I don't know what, but something consumed me. Then I come here and find her and NOTHING is going right.'
   "Hey Shu you okay!" That was Valt. After (y/n) left I tried my best to make everything better with my old friends Daigo and Valt. Daigo hasn't fully forgiven me but it's getting better. Valt on the other hand..." Can you believe (y/n) here! We haven't seen her in four years!"
   "Valt, she doesn't know how much Shu has changed since then. (y/n) most likely still is scared of Shu and wants nothing to do with him." Daigo stated.
   'Thanks for the pep talk Daigo" I retorted back.
   "I'm just saying, think about what happened four years ago. You really think think she'd forgive you that easily?" I gave him a 'Really' face but, he's right. How could she forgive me so easily? It's impossible. How could she ever love me...
