Chapter 5: She Finds Out

YOUR POV
   I had the time of my life last night. I'm walking to school with Shu, Mai, Valt, and Opal. I still can't find Diago though. Couldn't find him last night when he didn't show up. It kind of hurt.
   We all went our separate ways when me and Shu passed a janitors closet with a Diago asleep and peaking out. "DIAGO!" I shook him awake.
   "What!?"
   "Hey Diago, are you okay?" Shu asked him.
   "Ya, but all I remember is being picked in a closet last night by someone and then falling asleep. My phone had no signal so I couldn't text you where I was. I'm sorry about last night (y/n)." Diago got up and bowed down showing his sincerity.
   "It's okay Diago, but if someone tried sabotaging our meeting, then something here is going on. We'll figure this out after school okay Diago?" He nodded as Shu and I walked to class. Shu seemed to be a little nervous and tense. I don't know what's going on here, but I'll figure this out.

AFTER SCHOOL
SHU'S POV
   Okay, this isn't good. (y/n)'s figuring out that something here is going on. I need to warn Valt, Opal, and Mai. I pulled out my phone to text them.

Shipping Club

Shu: Okay guys, we have a HUGE problem.

Opal: What is it!? Is the world ending!

Valt: Oh no!!! Everyone take cover!

Mai: As if, if the world was ending that would be the best thing in the world.

Shu: No, the world is not ending so everyone, please calm down. Tell me what exactly you did to get my hang out with      (y/n).

Mai: Oh nothing, we just locked him the janitors closet and unlocked it later to let him sleep there until this morning.

Shu: Well, (y/n) and I stumbled along that closet and found him there. He explained everything to (y/n) and didn't know how he got locked in the closet. Now (y/n) is trying to figure out what happened to DIAGO!

Opal: Oh... That might be a problem.

Valt: So what could we do!? She's going to find out and kill us! I still remember how scary (y/n) can be from when we were younger.

Mai: Oh, she's still that scary. Trust me.

Shu: Okay, big problem. We'll figure this out.

I went off of my phone and began to walk up to the training area to see what is going to happen. Opening the door (y/n) waved at me as I saw an annoyed Diago behind her. "Hey Shu!!!"
   "Hey (y/n), Diago. So how are you guys figuring out what happened to Diago?" I asked.
   "Well I'm seeing how much he remembers and then looking around that area of where he was put into the closet." (y/n) answered. I still couldn't take my eyes off her. At least that was until Diago had to but in to my day dreaming.
   "So let's go try and figure out what happened." With that all of us went down to the closet. But before I went through the upstairs door Diago stopped me. "I know you have something to do with last night. I don't know what. And I don't know how. But you did something." He looked my in my crimson eyes and walked away. I just hope he doesn't find anything out.

YOUR POV
   When we got down to the closet I saw Opal and Mai there. "Hey guys! Did you find anything yet?"
   "Well we're looking around and I see absolutely... nothing so far!" Opal replied with a smile spread across her face.
   "You got anything Mai?"
   "Nope." The black haired girl clearly stated.
   Opal then whipped out her phone and I saw something. She always had this charm with the beyblade symbol on it. That charm was gone. She would never do lose that charm. 
   "Hey Opal, where did your beyblade phone charm go?" I asked her.
   "Well you see I lost it last night. I don't know where it went so don't worry about it. I can buy another one." Opal replied with a hint of worry in her voice.
   "What?! Opal this was your first phone charm!" I yelled.
   Then I saw something glimmer in the distance near the closet door. "Hey, what's that?" I asked. Walking over it looked like Opal' s beyblade charm! I picked it up. "Opal! This is your charm! Wait, does that mean. You trapped Diago in the closet."
   "N-no!" She fiddled with her hands.
   "Your lying Opal!" I screamed back.
   "Look guys let's just stop fighting okay." Mai said.
   "We're you part of this to Mai?" I asked.
   "Maybe." Mai replied. She hung her head down towards the floor. "Why would you do this!"
   Opal then but in. "We don't think you and Diago should be with each other! Also Sh-someone like me and Mai rather not let this happen!"
   "Why do you have to do this!"
   "This has more of a reason than you think!" Opal yelled.
   "Look (y/n) this is getting out of control, you just need to relax." Shu stated.
   "Wait, were you a part of this too! I can't believe it, it makes a lot more sense now. You're just trying to ruin my life! Just like last time! I can't believe you! You betrayed me again, to just what? Get revenge on me all over again. Now you've got my friends in with your madness now." Now I began to cry. Tears were pouring out of my eyes.
   "(y-y/n) please, I didn't want anything like that-"
   Diago cut him off. "Shut up Why! Leave    (y/n) alone. Next you're going to drag Valt into this!" Diago hugged me and began to walk me home.

SHU'S POV
   What did I do. Everything is ruined. This is all Diago's fault. He's going to pay.
   "Diago is going down." I growled.
   "Shu, you need to calm down. We can figure this out." Opal began.
   "It's going to take a while but we can fix this, just don't do anything that's going to get you in more trouble with (y/n)." Mai said.
   "I am not going to lose her again. I should've just handled this by myself." I exclaimed.
   "Shu, I'm sorry. This is our fault. We shouldn't have done anything big like this. If it's any consolation (y/n) hates us now too." Opal said, trying her best to comfort me. "Don't lose it Shu. She needs to meet the new you not the old one, and she saw that last night. Maybe she'll find her way back to you. Only fate can tell."
   I sighed as I walked back to my house trying to figure out how I can make this relationship between me and (y/n) better.
