Why should I be loved
For something I'm not?
I'm not perfect
I'm not good looking
I'm not smart
I'm not good
I'm not loved
I'm not me
I'm supposed to be smart
I'm supposed to be pretty
I'm supposed to be a girl
I'm supposed to be great
I'm supposed to be fake
My parents don't love me
They love the fake person
They love the smart girl
They love the pretty girl
They love the perfect girl
But truth is
I'm none of that
I'm a mess
I'm not loved
I'm not a girl
I'm ugly
I'm not perfect
All I want is to be loved
But that's too much to ask
I'm a monster
I'm weak
I just want what anyone else wants
