Lost and forgotten
Don't know where I am
Thorns piercing my bare feet
Darkness looming somewhere close
Rain falling in heavy downpour
Thick bushes blocking my path.
Scarcity of food and water
Yet on and on I keep running
Running on in the wilderness
Fleeing in fear
Fear of losing my soul
To the dark void hot on my heels.
No time to stop
No time to rest
Never giving up or stopping for my breath.
I can't give up now.
FEAR!! It's got me in a frenzy...
I don't have much left...
Hell! I don't have anything left.
Except my precious soul.
I can't lose that.
I keep running in fear
Fear of reality
Reality that I'm lost
Reality that I'm forgotten
Reality that there no one to help
Yet fear keeps me going
Giving me the will to survive
I refuse to lose my soul...
