"Um, Everett? What the hell are we doing in a river this deep?"
He turned his back towards me and I could tell by his posture that he was smiling. "Oh you know, just scouting out the portal opening." He replied casually.
Then he turned around and I just stared at him,whilst he hummed and searched more. I let my eyes study the surrounding river. He then jumped up in excitement and grabbed my arm, pulling me forward. I yelped and pulled away as we stopped in a deeper point of the nasty colored river. Something touched my foot and I shivered with anticipation. I stood silent waiting for him to do at least some cool thing he did yesterday with the fire. But nothing.
"Everett? What are we-"
"Shh! Have you felt anything touch you're feet?"
I swallowed hard and blinked fast. I started shaking for some reason. Because right then and there something touched my foot again.
"Yea-yeah? It just happened again." I gulped.
Everett gasped and spun around splashing me with dirty river water. I closed my eyes just as it had happened to show that he was obviously being dramatic. He got closer and closer while asking the same question. After a few minutes of this he started feeling the ground with his feet. Soon, he yelled 'aha!' and stuck his hand in the water reaching for something. Then he pulled his arm out and in his grasp was a silver skinny fish. It flicked around water all over the both of us making us both laugh. We then walked over to a giant bolder on the side of of the stream. Everett then lifted the fish up to the center of the bolder and started chanting in an ancient language. I steppted back just in case, before a ring of sparks started in the center of the bolder. The ring began to spin getting faster and faster. Soon it made the astrology sign if Pisces. But out of nowhere a view of a nice suburban neighborhood appeared. Before I could saw anything Everett stood behind me and pushed me forward into the portal. The last thing I heard was "This is you're suspension to another dimension! Good luck!"
(A/n: so this chapter is a little short but that's because I wanted to save the big reveal of this dimension for its own chapter. So I want you to keep guessing what fandom it will be! Anywho, I gotta get writing on this chapter while I still have the time! So byeeeeeee)
