Inside My Head || Minsung

~TWENTY-TWO~

MINHO: 

I park my car outside of Jisung's house, as he asked me to come over. The only light on is in his room, so he's the only one home. 

I start to knock on the door, and he opens it before my third knock. I jump back in surprise. 

I wave, and he bows, before grabbing my hand and dragging me up the stairs, into his room. He slams the door, and plops on his bed, waiting for me to do the same. So I copy his movements, sitting more carefully than him, as I see paper everywhere across the bed, crumpled up. 

Jisung hands me his notebook, while holding his breath. I give him an odd look, and open it. Inside, on the first page, I see: 

Minho- 

I need a favor- 

I want you to teach me something very important. 

I flip the page. 

How to speak!

I pause, staring from the book to him. He reddens, chewing on his lip in panic. 

"You mean... You don't know how?" I ask. 

He shakes his head. 

"Do you trust me?" He nods, "Try to say hi." I order him. 

He pauses, than opens his mouth. An odd, squeaky noise comes out. But no words. 

"Okay.. I need to teach you how.. Alright. How long do you think it'll take?" He shrugs. "Helpful.... How about I meet you every day for two hours?"

He nods, and takes the paper, writing; 

I want to know some words before the reunion. 

But I won't talk there. 

"Okay... Sooah is moving in, but we don't need the room yet. How about you stay with me for a little while?"

Until thursday, then I pack and stuff. 

"Okay! That works! We can get used to each other!"

And I can get away from me demon of a mother. 

"True! Benefits us all!" I use jazz hands. 

He rolls his eyes, and lays across my lap, cuddling in. I smile and play with his fluffy hair. He giggles, and we both stop breathing. Without looking down, I say, "That was frickin' adorable."

We make eye contact, and he's bright red in the most adorable way. I grin down at him, and he allows a small smile back.
