Barred for years in this prison,
Suffering from day to day.
But not to lose hope the wise men say.
Even the hope had committed treason.
All I want is to be free.
The river of despair flows near the bay,
But if there is a will, there is a way.
I would escape this abyss and see the sun.
I would get my liberty.
My hope shall not perish,
No hope to find the memories I cherish.
But still my adamant heart has won.
I would get the fruit of toil I have done.
I would soon find a way,
My only hope to behold the day,
My only hope to see the sun,
All I want is to be free.
All I want is liberty.
