Padme set the co-ordinates to Polis Massa, a lonely rock which served as a med bay for those who would want anonymity; also where Bail Organa advised her to go to tend to the injured Jedi. When they were in hyperspace, Padme treated the Jedi with First Aid. She washed away the blood covering Ahsoka and bandaged her wounds and burn marks, occasionally stopping to process that it was her husband that did this to her. She applied the proper antiseptic to prevent infection of her tissues. Padme laid Ahsoka's arm on a soft place to prevent it from moving. Obi Wan dressed his own arm with cotton to prevent further bleeding, after washing the blood and applying some antiseptic.

Padme sat on the pilot seat, contemplating on whatever just happened. He was... he was dangerous. He almost killed two of her friends and he behaved like a monster with no compassion. He said that love was a weakness, that annoyed her, but a part of her still loved him. And the way he spoke it her, it seemed like there was still good in him, and he was just lost.

Now, she had just made a proposal of divorce, and she was having two children. How did he know there were going to be two children? Maybe because he is a Force sensitive and he could sense the presences. The thought of carrying twins made her nervous, how was she going to handle things? She was to raise them and hide from him forever, or maybe she'd have to fight against him, considering she joins the organisation she and other senators have planned.

Kenobi sat down next to her. “How are you feeling?” he asked her.

“I don't know what to say. He scared me.” She replied, sighing, “I know his inner self is not whoever he was on Mustafar.”

“But he is a threat now, to us and to you.”

“I know, but I think he was manipulated.” She reasoned, “He'd never act this way.”

“Padme, listen.” He replied, putting his hand on her shoulder, “Whoever he was in the past, he is gone. I felt it on Mustafar. Now, he is Darth Vader.”

Padme nodded and looked at the blue and white streaks of hyperspace from the view. Turning to the Jedi Master, she asked, “What are we going to do now?”

“I do not know. I hope Master Yoda has a little more success than we did. Otherwise, Anakin's children are our only hope.” He answered.

“No, I do not approve.” She responded, “Vader has already become a Sith and what if the children are seduced by their father?”

“Then we have to ensure that they are never abducted by him.”

She sighed, and spoke, the fatigue in her voice being evident, “If it is alright Master Kenobi, I do not wish to speak of this now.”

“I apologise, Senator.” He said and after a pause, “Why don't you get some rest while I keep watch?”

“Thank you Master Jedi. I appreciate the offer.” She replied and went to take a rest.

Vader looked at the construction of the Death Star, from the command bridge of his star destroyer. The Empire harvested all the available kyber crystals for the laser beam. The kyber crystals from Ilum, the Jedi Temples in the galaxy, Jedha, Daminia and others were all being harvested. The droids worked on the space station; the ultimate weapon to ensure allegiance to the Empire, especially with the three Jedi still on the loose.

Amidala helped them escape, proving her revolt against the Empire. She was guilty of treason, but he didn't put a bounty on her, for the sake of his children.

‘For the sake of the children.’ That was what Padme said to him when she proposed about separating. He couldn't allow it. Kenobi would train them to become Jedi, an unacceptable case. How dare she take away the only good thing going on in his life!?
