The next day, Benjiro woke up and did his normal routine. But instead of waking up at 7am, he woke up at 6:45am so that he could make a bento for him and Akumu in the morning and some breakfast for himself. As he walked out of the house, Benjiro didn't see Akumu . "Eh? Maybe she decided to go to school earlier today..." Benjiro thought and walked to school.

When Benjiro entered the school premises, he saw Aika looking from her classroom window into outer space. As Benjiro placed his hand in the air to wave to Aika, she suddenly disappeared again. "Strange... is Aika mad at me? I better talk to her after school..." Benjiro thought to himself and walked into the school building.

As Benjiro walked to the classroom, he saw Akumu talking with Akio. As soon as Akumu saw Benjiro , her eyes widened as she ran to him. "Ah, Benjiro -kun? You cut your hair! And you're wearing contacts!" Akumu smiled as she touched Benjiro 's hair, in the background, Akio had a shocked expression.

Benjiro nodded and Akumu complemented, "Benjiro -Kun, you really look handsome! Like really! Girls would come running to you!"

Benjiro laughed and thanked Akumu as she walked in the classroom as Emica was calling her. Akio walked up to Benjiro with his face a little red, "You got a haircut and removed your specs didn't you?"

Benjiro answered back confidently, "Yes, I look amazing don't I?"

"Ye-Yeah I guess... So... what were you talking about just now?" Akio interrogated.

"Oh, Akumu -chan was saying how handsome I look!" Benjiro said assuredly.

"Oh ok, see you around..." Akio quickly walked into the classroom and Benjiro followed behind him.

As Benjiro walked into the classroom, a lot of faces were staring at him. "Woah! Benjiro looks like a boy!"

"Yeah! He looks so handsome!"

"This could actually work if I flirt with him..."

The girls in the class gossiped about Benjiro 's new look on how great he looks. " 'You actually look like a guy' well that's true and all, it's a weird sensation, but feeling this way for the first time can't be bad, right?" Benjiro thought to himself as he positively walked to his seat.

When Benjiro saw Akumu seated by herself, he placed down his bag on the chair and talked to Akumu . "Hey Akumu , what's up?" Benjiro said with his chest up.

"Hey Benjiro -Kun! I'm bored, can you read manga with me?" Akumu asked.

Benjiro nodded and they went to their usual corner. "So Akumu -chan, I made lunch for the two of us to eat during lunch. Would you like some?" Benjiro asked Akumu .

"Yeah sure! I didn't know you could cook Benjiro -kun!" Akumu enthusiastically nodded.

As they read the manga, Benjiro could not focus at all. "Even for the new me, the chance of success is looking pretty grim... it's not like I really believe, but I still send a tiny request upstairs to heaven!" Benjiro pondered to himself, clutching his hands in a brief prayer.
