"My turn!" Sakura-san shouted after Dad stopped speaking. Dad gave a smile and nodded, but Himawari looked confused. I shuffle my way to my little sister and ruffle her hair, and she looks up with dim eyes. I knew that there was a lot of pressure and shock against her, even though she was trying to stay cheerful.

I felt that way too, but I couldn't show her that I was getting weak. I have to stay strong for Himawari.

I'm her big brother, after all.

"Hey... Sakura-san was Mom's best friend. Don't you wanna know that part?" I ask, and Himawari nods silently. Sakura-san walked over and sat down next to Himawari, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Himawari leaned into Sakura-san and I sat up next to Dad on the couch. He looks at me with a faint smile and I touched his shoulder, throwing my trademark closed eyed grin. I hear him chuckle slightly, and Sakura-san looks at us.

"Okay, so I was at the police department and...."

"HINATA!!!" Sakura Haruno yells as she skids into the medical examiner's office. The dark haired beauty looks up from her paperwork and set down her pen, jumping up from her seat. A quaint little office, with a large wooden desk in the corner, a few chairs lined up by the light blue wall. Pictures of Hinata and her friends were tacked on a bulletin board, and cheerful posters were around. A little cactus plant sat near a window. It was a breezy and adorable office, but the place where one of the most important work in  the department got done.

"Sakura! I've missed you so much, girl!" Hinata replies joyfully, and Sakura beamed, tackling her best friend into a bear hug. Hinata hugged back, and laughed into her shoulder.

"Okay, okay, you can let go, I can't breath!" Hinata said, gasping. Sakura let go, and sheepishly rubbed her neck, chuckling.

"Ah... I'm sorry. I don't know my strength. Sasuke-kun says it all the time too." She replied, shrugging her shoulders. Hinata put a hand to her hip and pointed her index finger at pastel pink haired girl, giving a sly grin. Sakura realized her mistake and died inside, awaiting the words Hinata was about to say.

"Ohohoho, Sasuke-kun? Hmm? As in, Sasuke Uchiha? Son of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, who lives in a huge mansion? Whose family owns the whole military and police sector of Konoha? Who's studying to become a teacher? Who you practically talk almost day and night to me about, swooning over his dreamy looks and the ever adorable personality? Who-,"

"OKAY OKAY, YES, THAT SASUKE! HINNNNAAA, YOU'RE SO CRUEL!"

Hinata just had a devilish look on her face, and she flopped into the chair behind her, spinning slightly into it. Sakura leaned against the wall, giving a soft smile.

"All in all, I'm happy you're back. I haven't seen you in a year."

"Because I was in America, remember? We did video chat a lot though."

"Not the same as talking to you in the flesh."

"I'm so honored... although I'm not back on good circumstances. I... I didn't even really want to come back."

Sakura tilted her head, frowning, and Hinata twirled her hair, biting her lip gently.

"Didn't want to come back? I'm so hurt!" The pink haired girl dramatically said, pretending she was shot in the heart with an arrow. Hinata giggled and threw a piece of wadded paper, and Sakura looked up, laughing. Fiddling with a pen, Hinata eased her giggles and went back to smiling, focusing on the pen and its movements. Sakura silently watched, knowing she would say whatever she needed to at her own pace.

"Four people have been killed. I know for sure its that damn gang, Taka. Evidence is leading towards them. I'm just frustrated because I can't find them. Not even Toneri! And he's really, really good at finding people with just a little bit of evidence." Hinata said, with annoyance in her voice. Sakura reached out and gave a hug, rubbing her stressed out best friends back.
