“So why were you fighting him, Allura? The organization must want something? They always do.” I asked her. We were still in front of the mansion sitting on the ground, talking. I wanted to know why the organization was after her and what they may have been trying to stop her from doing.
“He was under organization orders, I assume to take me to Xemnas….”
“Xemnas??”
“Yes….”
“Well why? Why does he want you so bad?”
“I have a special connection to the darkness….”
“Special how?” I didn’t want to freak her out that I already knew what kind of connection she had.
“I can summon and control heartless…but only the heartless that illuminate from true darkness…like the shadows and neo shadows…”
“I see…” I still didn’t quite understand why Xemnas wanted this girl so badly…unless it was her heart he was after?
“And you don’t seem at all like they said…”
“I don’t? What did they tell you?”
“They said you were liar and a cheater. They told me that you cheated them out of what they needed and wanted, that you tricked them and that you were vile and ruthless and could not be trusted for a second. But I knew that they were lying, something just told me they were.”
“Well not all of it, a portion that may be sort of true. My past has given me quite the reputation, and perhaps not the best one, but it has its perks. But they were the ones who lied and tricked me. I thought I was doing something good and helping for a greater cause…. But I ended up hurting more good people than helping, and ended up helping the wrong people. And in the end they jus wanted me closer to the darkness to take my heart.”
“Oh…I’m sorry, Ayame…”
“Well living with them wasn’t all bad. And I was there for months. Like I said it had its perks. I made friends with the other wielders and I also obtained the darkness which had now become my own. So it wasn’t all bad, I even become friends with a few of the organization members too but in the end they still betrayed me in the end. But I have also learned from my mistakes.”
“You actually lived with them….? And I do remember them mentioning something about your darkness…just not sure what. But you sound like you have pride in it…you know its bad right?”
I couldn’t help but laugh at her question a little. “Yeah, I know. And I know what it could do to me, but for some reason I can’t help but revel in it, because it’s mine. And now I have better control of it than I ever have, so I’m not worried and I can probably thank my light mostly for that.”
“I see…I think I understand…and you have light?”
“Yes the power of light…” I then made a small orb of light appear on my finger and tapped her forehead.
“Oh!”
“Allura…?”
“Yes?”
