Mass effect story.
The planets-there alive, but there dying, and need our help. So Mother asked us to help spread her health to every other planet, in return we gain powers, powers beyond god, you may not understand it, but you will, we have no hunger, no war, no death, only peace. But threaten Her, threaten MOTHER. and you will die.
You know how in fallout there are plant like creatures that come alive, also the animals became deadlier, the crypts rose, all that. Take all of that and make it the work of earth. Basically its a story of the earth basically becoming sentient somehow and helps humanity in many ways, home, resources, physics, and many other things, even giving them strange powers. This leads humanity to worship the earth and want to help her expand. So they travel in ships made by her powers to other planets in order to expand her power.
No this is not specific to just fallout, this can contain other things, if you know earth loving society(NO NOT HIPPIES) than they can come in to. The only thing is that I used fallout to give an example, examples like the-
The spore people
The Spore Venus fly trap
The Tentacle creature
These can count as the planet rising up to reclaim itself and also to help humanity.
Some creatures ideas- think of, what would plants look like if they became sentient, this goes into there Millitary life, Homes, Animals, food, and all other things. This also replace human weapons, instead of mass effect weapons they use Acid spitting guns, web capture devices, venom, spears, crossbows, creatures, bone weapons whatever.
The Mordeo- A human who chooses the path to hunger forever in order to connect to mother earth as an eaternal protector, Bone claws, bone teath.
Required-
No reapers.
The earth having powers-basically the earth has this way of communicating to hummans and it itself has many powers or creatures at its disposal which it can grant to other planets.
Individualistic humanity-Each planets is sort of like a demigod the humans worship, which cosses changes to the humans
Elemental creatures- creatures created from elements.
