I woke to a bright white light, I squinted slightly.

I instantly felt the pain in my leg and winced.

"Eunji, Eunji, you're awake, are you ok?"

I look up to see Yuta's worried face.

"Yeah, fabulous," I said sarcastically as I tried to lift myself up. Sat in the bed, I could see I was back in my room at the safe house.

"Don't try and move too much, your leg's got stitches in."

I lifted the cover to see my bare leg, with a great big gash and stitches across it.

"Oh...who did them?"

"Johnny, so blame him if they're wonky," Yuta gave me a slight smile.

"I'll thank him later."

"Taeyong told me to go get him when you woke up, he only left 10 minutes ago, I'll be back in a sec."

"Wait!" I stopped Yuta leaving. I wanted answers.

"Was the whole thing planned?"

It wouldn't surprise me, we just happened to go out that day, happened to go to that particular shop, they happened to kill him. I wasn't stupid.

"Yes, but we weren't told til after. Only your father and Kai knew. If we knew we would have never put you in danger like that, I promise."

I just processed it all. I looked down at my open palms, completely spaced out.

"Eunji?"

"Sorry, I'm just thinking," I said sniffing, I realised I was crying, I just wiped my tears away and looked back at Yuta's concerned face.

"Why did my father plan it then?" I asked, regaining my composure.

"He needed to find out where the YG headquarters were, and the man in the shop had a few screws loose so he was an easy target," Yuta explained.

I just nodded in response. My own father had used me as bait. I didn't expect this low even of him.

"Am I supposed to know this?" I asked the boy in front of me.

"No, but you deserve to know."

I smiled fondly at his kind face.

"Thank you, Yuta."

The door opened and Taeyong's eyes widened before glaring at Yuta.

"I told you to tell me when she was awake!"

"I was just about to come and get you!"

"It's my fault, don't blame Yuta."

"I don't, I was just worried," Taeyong said as he came beside me. Yuta just gave me a small wave and a smile before leaving the room.

"I'm fine."

"Eunji I'm so sorry that this happened to you, I had no idea that that was going to happen, I should have known."

"Stop, it's not your fault," I reassured him. He came and sat on the bed, the other side of my injured leg, and took my cold hands into his warm ones.

"How are you feeling?"

"Spiteful."

He just looked at me intensely, trying to read my face.

"I can't believe your father would do this," Taeyong said, looking downwards at our intertwined hands. He quickly pulled them away and put them on his knees as he realised what was happening. I reached out and took them again, he just looked at me painfully.

"I can't," he looked sadly at me and tried to pull away but I didn't let him. He didn't resist.

"No one has to know."

"I don't want you to live like this Eunji, you should be free to live your life, and if that's with Kai then I'm not going to stop you."

"I'm never going to be with Kai, whether I'm with you or not."

"Eunji...your father..."

"I'm going to kill him."

"No you're not."

"I mean it Taeyong."

He looked at me, his mouth slightly hung open in shock. I shocked myself, but I was fed up of having to live my life like this. It didn't just effect me, it's affected my mother, it's affected Taeyong. I'd had enough.

"I'm going to kill him, whether you help me or not."
