Chapter 12

They got to the prison and were in the room when Otto came in. Savannah went over and hugged him, him kissing her on the head. "Baby girl, how are you doing" "How was Luann's funeral"

"Dad it was perfect, Gemma did awesome helping me" "I miss her so much, I'm just so happy that I still have you" "How are you"?

Chibs was sitting across from Otto and one seat down as Savannah sat next to Chibs and across from Otto. Otto responded, "Good as can be, tell me more of you, brighten my day baby girl"

"Dad, I shot the man who killed mama today" looking directly at him.

Otto looked over to Chibs, "You did what" he shouted "And where the hell were you and why did she have a gun"? Leaning forward to Chibs.

Savannah stood up her hands on the table and she let lose on her dad for the first time in her life, "Dad" she shouted. "He killed my mom"! "I killed him" "I've done nothing you would not have done yourself" "You trained me"  "They didn't see it coming, I took control and got a gun and shot the bastard in the head" "It's part of the life dad" "I am in this life now" she shouted to him. "You taught me this life and kept me of knowledge of this life" "I am an adult and I killed the bastard and the men cleaned up the mess" "That's how it is dad" she continued to shout at him as he glared at Chibs.

She then continued with in her anger "And that man your glaring at is the man you told to take care of me, well dad, he's doing a quite fine job, he moved into the house with me, and not in the spare room but in my room in my bed and shags me each night, so no one will hurt me as they will have to go through him first" "Does that meet your approval"? "Too bad if not, because" and she went silent, then she whispered, "Oh my God, it took me a melt down to realize" looking at Chibs "That I do love you, Dear God I need therapy" and then she was silent still looking at Chibs.

Chibs realizing he just might die today, by Otto's hand, not how he wanted this to go down. Damn woman and her mouth!

Chibs didn't take his eye off Otto and Otto not taking his off Chibs right now, "Savannah, leave the room a minute"

"No, I'll not, whatever you say to him you say in front of me" she said calmly

"Got your mama's spike on today do you" looking at Savannah finally, "I'll not kill him but men need to talk, out"

Chibs nodded to her and she walked out

She walked into the bathroom and leaned against the wall, "I'm in love with him dear God, I'm in love with him and told my dad I was shagging a club member and loved him" "Dear Keeper of the Gates, fine time to tell me right now"

She gathered herself and went back into the room as she seen her dad and Chibs shake hands. "Guess that went well, now, how long am I grounded for" looking at her dad.

"If I were him, who will be taking over my responsibilities for you and I will hope he survives them as I've had a hard enough time with you, it'll be up to him, I'd do a year or more, but it's up to him."

"Well, tell him to take his boots off at the door and quit walking on the carpet with them will you"

Otto laughed, "You won't win, trust me, you won't win with this one, she is a mix of both her mom and me, strong, sharp mouth and a hell of a woman to love"

Chibs smiling at Otto then to her, "That she is" "And I do love her" "Come my lass, our time is up and we need to get you back home"

She went over kissed her dad and hugged him with so much love then left with Chibs.
