I sat up from my bed and looked outside the window. You could see the boys playing soccer nextdoor. It seems that they have decided to play soccer in front of the house next to me. I found myself standing at the window and watching them play soccer. I'm such a creep. Then, I heard my mother open and close the front door. "I'm home!" my mom hollered. I peeled my eyes off of the mini soccer game going on nextdoor and walked downstairs. "Hey," I hugged mom, "what are we doing for dinner?" "Instead of eating dinner at home again, we got invited to a dinner." "Where?" "Next door," she said while pointing towards the house even though we were inside ours, "at the O'Donnell's." I froze up a little bit. "Oh okay," those were the only words I could manage to squeeze of my mouth. "Well, we're gonna meet up there in an hour, so you and Steven should get ready." She replied. I slowly walked back up to my room and just stood there for about a minute. My heart was already pounding and I could feel my blood rushing up to my face. Then, I burst into my closet looking for something to wear. I look through all the hangers with clothes on it. I couldn't find anything. Then, I went to my drawers and couldn't find anything to wear there either. UGH. I moaned. I just sat there and realized how much I was overthinking this whole outfit and dinner thing. "Stop it, September. Just be yourself." I said outloud to myself. I looked down at my current outfit and just changed my sweatshirt to a nice hollister sweater with a undershirt. I looked at myself and I actually felt good. I grabbed my phone and camera and put it in my Satchel. I then quickly glanced out of my window to say goodnight to the sun that was already setting in my window. Then, I walked out of my room and downstairs. "Ready?" My mom questioned. "Yeah" My brother replied. Altogether we drained out of the front door and onto the sidewalk. We started to walk towards the nextdoor home. I could see that the lights in the windows were all on. I could see quite a few people in the house walking around. Then, we made it to the front door. We knocked on the door three times until write heard someone opening the door. "Hello! You must be the Summers family! I'm Susie O'Donnell." she opened the door wide open and shook all three of our hands. "You have a lovely home," my mom said while walking into the door. "Thank you Gretchen." Susie said, "please, come to the kitchen, the foods ready." I continued walking further into the house and adventually made it to the kitchen. I could see a bunch of boys gathered around in the kitchen. When they noticed me, all eyes were on me. "Hey September!" Sean said. "Hey Sean," I grinned. "Camera girl right?" another boy next to Sean questioned. "haha yeah," I laughed. "September, these are my friends. Sean, Will, Kenji, Evan, and David." They each said their different greetings to me. "Hi you guys." I smiled. It got a little awkward for a little bit, but then Susie walked in with my mom and Steven. The rest of them said hi to eachother, Then we began eating dinner. Susie and my mom sat in the living room while they ate and talked about moving from Dallas. I turned around and saw Steven on the phone in the corner. Probably his annoying girlfriend. Then I looked into the formal dining room and saw the boys all eating and talking. Suddenly, I caught eye contact with Sean and he waved his hand towards him. Without thinking, I started walking towards the open seat next to Sean and his friends. "September!" the boys hollered. I guess that was their way of greeting me to their table. I sat down and set my plate down. "How are you liking it here in New York?" Evan asked. "I like it a lot." I replied. "Where did you move from?" the other Sean questioned. "Dallas, Texas," I said with a smile. "Nice" he replied. The dinner was pretty fun actually! We all kept talking about different things. Then after dinner, we all went upstairs to Sean's room. "awwwh, and who is this cutie?" I questiond while picking up the cutest puppy in the world. "That is Lulu." Sean said. "It looks like she really likes you." It was obvious that Lulu did because she wouldn't stop licking my face. After we all played with Lulu, Sean showed me his cameras and showed me some of this pictures on his Mac. "Actually you can see some of my pictures on my tumblr called theadults." "okay cool." I replied and we kept talking with everyone. I got my camera and we all started to take silly pictures of eachother. It was really fun. Then Will wanted to take the picture of all of us. When he said that, I assumed that he was talking about just the boys. So, I gave him my camera and I stepped towards the corner of the room so I wasn't in the picture. I looked over at Sean who was posing for the picture. We locked eye contact and he smiled. I immediately started to blush. "Sep, come get in the picture." Sean said. I walked over to where he was and started smiling towards the camera. At that moment my heart was pounding and I could hear it in my chest. Snap. One shot. Then I could feel his arm stretch around my neck and he rested it there. Snap. Two shots. And Then I felt his lips on my cheek. Snap. Three shots. At that moment I felt frozen. I bet my face was so red. I knew that I was blushing big time. "Great photoshoot!" Will yelled and gave me back the camera. I still had this huge smile painted on my face. I couldn't hide it. "What happened Sep?" Kenji questioned. "You look like you've just seen the best thing in your life." David added. "It's nothing." I smiled. "So how am I gonna do this two Seans' thing?" I questioned to change the subject. "Well, you can call me Sean or SPO." Sean said. "And you can call me Sushie." The other Sean added. "Alright, I can do this." I said. Then everyone in the room laughed. "Sep, we gotta go!" Steven yelled from downstairs. "Well I gotta go." I sat up from Sean's bed. All of the boys said bye. "Oh here's my number, guys." I grabbed a piece of paper and pen and wrote my number on it. "Just text me if you want." "okay!" they said. I grabbed my bag, phone and camera and ran out of the door. I climbed downstairs and towards the front door. "Ready?" my mom asked. "yup." We headed out of the door and started walking towards our house. "How was your night?" my mom questioned. "Good, made some friends." Once we got home, I went upstairs and washed up. I laid in my bed and turned on my camera. I flipped through all the pictures. I occasionally laughed as I look at all of them. We took a lot. Then, I got to the famous three pictures. I flipped through those ones slowly. I started blushing and smiling again. I turned off my camera and turned all the lights off. Right before I went to sleep, I saw a light turn on in the Sean's house. It was Sean's room. I could see him through the window. I got out of bed and went up to my window. I soon caught his eye and he waved to me. I went back to my bed and my phone buzzed. I checked the text and it said: 'goodnight September :* -Sean'. I texted him back a goodnight message too. What a great way to end the best day. I couldn't stop thinking of him. He was sweet and perfect. This was the perfect first day of New York.
