It was like every other day for Sabrina, boring and not Halloween. She lived for that holiday but her parents, Max and Allison Dennison, had a terrible past with that exact holiday. Sabrina had no clue why they despised it so much but every time she asked she was shut down. At least tomorrow is Halloween. Maybe this year she'll get an answer to one of her many questions. Who knows.

________

"Hey Bri!" Max greeted happily (with jazz hands) as the brunette entered the school. Sabrina waved at her redheaded friend and giggled at their stupidity. Internally she was panicking as her and Max never met up in the morning.

"Hey! What's up!" Sabrina smiled. It was the thing was best at. The oh-so famous Sabrina Dennison smile, if she doesn't smile back at you, you've done something wrong.

"Great now you're here. Billy's being an ass again." Max rolled her eyes at the thought. "But that's not why I am waiting by your locker. I am here because I want you to meet my friends after school!"

"Well alright, I guess I'll see you after school. Or well technically in Math because we have that class together." Sabrina sighs as Max walks away. She quickly grabs her things for her next two classes (since they were right beside each other) and walked, well speed walked, down the hall time her class before the bell rang. As she walked down the hallway she let's her mind slip into scenarios of how later might play out.

For example, They absolutely hate her and convince Max to hate her too, maybe they might actually like her and she said just worrying over nothing, but there's always the possibility that only one or two of the group hates her and she just has to live with it.

________

The time finally came to where Sabrina had to meet Max's friends. Aka the time Sabrina dreaded since she showed up in this prison. She had no idea where to go so she decided maybe she could get away with leaving. The girl didn't know why she didn't want to go, she loved meeting new people.

Max saw her when she was almost out of the building. "Hey, I kinda forgot to tell you where to go. Sorry 'bout that. Just follow me!" Max grabbed her arm and dragged her down to their destination. The AV Club.

"The AV Club? Really?" She questioned.

"This is where they meet up alright, they are in the club anyways." Max pointed out. Sabrina shrugged in response as Max knocked out the door. A rule that only Max had to follow, courtesy of Mike. A curly headed boy opened the door and greeted the two with a pearly white smile.

"Hey Max! Is this your friend you were talking about?" He asked. Max nodded.

"Hey," Sabrina waved nervously. The boy stuck his hand out, offering a handshake. Sabrina (obviously) shook his hand in return, not wanting to seem rude. "Im Sabrina."

"Hi! I'm Dustin!" He smiled, showing his teeth once more. Max cleared her throat. "Oh, right. Right this way lovely ladies."He moved out of the way and pretended to lay a jacket on the floor. The girls giggled at this and Dustin gave a satisfactory smile in return.

When Sabrina walked in she saw four other kids in there, one if which was a girl. A girl who was clinging on one of the boys as if the world would end if she let go.

"Guys, meet my best friend, Sabrina!" Max exclaimed. She looked proud, proud that she was friends with one of the favored kids of Salem Middle School.

"Hello." Sabrina smiled. A fake smile. A fake smile that went unnoticed by everyone but Max. (A/N: Oh, right. The poison. The poison for Kuzco, the poison chosen especially to kill Kuzco, Kuzco's poison. That poison?) Max knew not to ask though. At least not there with people she is now just meeting.

"I'm Lucas." One of the boys stated.

"I-I'm Will." Stuttered the one with a bowl cut.

"I'm El." the girl who was standing next to a boy with an icy glare. One so cold it could shatter the tension he had created.

The boy stayed silent. "Alright, tough crowd." Sabrina joked to end the silence. Everyone but him laughed. "Okay but can you say something? It's kinds scaring me and I think I might pass out if the constant glaring continues."

"I'm Mike. And just because Max is your friend doesn't mean you're in our group." the boy rolled his eyes, then continued to glare. Sabrina started to think it was his resting face. Everyone stared at him due to the rude remark he gave to Hawkins sweetheart, Sabrina Dennison.

"Max can I talk to you privately for a second?" She motioned to the door and Max followed.

"What?" Max whispered.

"Is he always like that?" She questioned.

"Like what?" Max asked obliviously.

"Stuck up?" Max nodded after thinking about for a bit. They returned back into the room and the group stared at them.

"I thought I said we didn't need any more party members!" Mike screeched.

"Give her a chance Mike! I think you'll like her!" Max pleaded.

"We don't even want girls in our group!" He groaned.

"Then what's Jane? A boy too!" Lucas protested.

"Mike do you have something to tell us?" Sabrina smirked. This frozen heart would be an easy target to tease. Will hid in the corner, wishing to blend into the walls and not have to deal with another one of Mike's temper tantrums.

"I'm not gay! I'm dating El! You don't even know me and you're making assumptions, how I that fair?" Mike whined

"You don't know me and you don't like me." Sabrina stated.

"That's different." He sighed.

"ThAt'S dIfFeReNt!" Sabrina taunted. The others snickers as the couple glared.

"Get out." Mike said sternly.

"Gladly," The girl smiled and started to walk away. "By the way, you four are pretty chill. If you ever wanna talk, find Max, she'll tell us where I'm at."

And with that, the teen walked out the door to her house. As she was leaving she could hear the yells of the group fighting, over her. She walked out knowing this Halloween will be fun, little did she know, it'd be so much more.
