Chapter 8: Rumors

The team of super heroes returned the computer chip the bank needed and now it will be highly secured.
one day passes and it's Friday

Oli: Joel are you actually gonna meet up with Scott tomorrow night?

Joel: No.

Oli: And your not scared?

Joel: No, why would I be scared?

Oli: More than half of the school is scared of him.

Joel: Just because the whole school is scared of him, doesn't mean we have to be scared of him.

Lauren: Uhh guys, there's rumors going around about someone.

Joel: Let me guess, Scott said something about me?

Lauren: Actually no it doesn't really have to do anyting with you. Well...it doesn't have to do anything with Joel, it's about SmallishBeans.

Oli: Where are you going with this Lauren?

Lauren: Rumor has it that Lizzie has a crush on SmallishBeans.

Joel: What?

Lauren: Hey look at the bright side, Joel doesn't have to date Ldshadowlady and he can date Lizzie.

Oli: Oh yeah!

Joel: Ha ha very funny you two, Im still sticking with ldshadowlady and I'm not changing my mind unless she does something foul.

Lauren: Come on Joel what do you see in her? A villian and hero can't be together. Look at all the other heroes, now and before. Have you seen any of them date a villian? No.

Joel: Then this will be the first.

Joel walks away to his next class early, with a pissed expression. He likes Ldshadowlady and she likes him, yet Lauren won't understand

Oli: Great Lauren, you took it too far.

Lauren: Says the one who agreed with me.

Oli: Don't try to blame this on me Lauren. At first I thought you we're just messing with him. Just accept the fact that he actually does love her. And she loves him.

The Bell Rings and everyone starts walking towards their classrooms

Oli: I'll l see you at the team headquarters Lauren.

Joel's POV
*sigh* Lauren will never understand will she. Let's just hope she'll accept me later on. I sit in the class room for 10 minutes, the teachers aren't here yet. Olivia starts walking up to me. What does she want now? "Joel, I'm so glad I found you." "uhh yeah...what do you want exacly" Why is she happy to see me? this is weird... "Look, I know you and Lizzie don't really like each other that much-" "You can say that again" I usually don't say things like this to people but it just came out of my mouth. "Joel, Lizzie told me that she has a crush on SmallishBeans, our town hero" She continues to talk, so...it is true. She does like me, well she likes SmallishBeans, but-

Joel: Your bluffing right? That's not possible.

Olivia: I can show you proof tomorow and-

Before Olivia could even finish her sentence, Scott shoves her aside.

Scott: Move!

Olivia: Ugh, rude.

Scott: So Joel are you gonne man up and fight me.
