Chapter 13: Saving her

At the heroes headquarters

Lauren: Has anyone seen Joel?

Oli: He went on a date with Ldshadowlady.

Lauren: What...Joel.

Yasmin: What do you have feelings for him or something?

Lauren: No, no it's not that, it's just...I want him to be okay, he's apart of our team and our friend.

Yasmin: He's going to be okay. What could possibly go wrong?

Aaaand that's where she's wrong, Ldshadowlady didn't do anything wrong though. While Ldshadowlady and SmallishBeans were falling, the thing they didn't know, the lake is REALLY deep. Both of them knew how to swim, but the lake is also really fast!

Lizzie's POV
SPLASH! Me and Smallishbeans fall in to the deep and dark lake. We both fall down very deep, I swim up, or at least I try to. There are so many rocks, my foot is stuck under one of them. I try to lift it but it's too heavy. I need air fast!

Joel's POV
I swim up, as fast as I can.
I don't see her, I scream for her several times there's no response. I dive down, it's hard to see, but she's about to drown! I swim towards her, and try to pull her up. She's stuck. I push the rocks off of her, and I finally pull her up for air.

LDShadowLady: *coughs*

SmallishBeans: I'm sorry...it's my fault...

LDShadowLady: N-no...it's not your fault. If we ran backwards they would of seen us. B-but I'm okay.

SmallishBeans: Are you sure?

LDShadowLady: Mhm.

Both of them go back to dry land, and try to dry off.

LDShadowLady: It's so c-cold.

Smallishbeans: I...think we should go home. Once you de-transform you'll be dry.

LDShadowLady: Okay. When's the next time I can see you?

Smallishbeans: This weekend? We have school tomorrow.

LDShadowLady: O-okay.

Both of them part their ways. Lizzie de-transforms once she arrives home, Joel doesn't de-transform till he's at the headquarters.

Lizzie's POV
I arrive home and
de-transform. I'm all dry, which is a good sign. I try to open the door, it's unlocked. My parents are asleep so I run downstairs to get some food before Emma comes back. I get my self an apple a few cookies and a glass of milk. It's 7:30, mine as well study and eat at the same time. I go upstairs and take out my math text book. I take a bite out of my apple and at the same time, I hear the door open downstairs, Emma's probably back. This time my door opens. "Alright Emma, what do you want, whoa...wh-what's that?!...n-no...no stay away, leave me alone NO!!"

Joel's POV
I finally make it to the team headquarters. "Guys, I'm back" Oli immediately runs downstairs "Joel I missed you" he hugs me real tight.

Joel: It's only been two hours.

Oli: Why are you wet?

Joel: Uh—it's a...long story.

Oli: Tell me!

Joel: What?

Oli: Tell me how the date went.

Joel: It was, unexpected...let's just say we both fell in water.

Oli: Was it the water fall.

Joel: How did you know.

Oli: I have my ways.

Joel de-transforms and goes to bed while Oli is studying for his science test a little bit more, after a while Oli goes to sleep. The night rolls by and it's morning.

Lauren: UHH, guuuys!

Yasmin: What?

Lauren: Look...

Oli: What is it?

Lauren opened one of the news channels and something unexpected pops us
"It appears that 18 year old Lizzie Dwayer has been gone missing. Last time her adoptive parents saw her, she was in her room at 5 o'clock studying. Right now there are no traces of any kidnaping. Could she have ran away, or was she kidnaped? If so, she was kidnaped could it be an on going thing—"

Lauren: She's gone.

Joel: We didn't really liked her, but her being missing is...is

Yasmin: Terrible...my best friend...she's gone!

Yasmin gets up, she's about to transform, but Oli stops her

Oli: Yasmin, what are you doing?

Yasmin: I'm transforming and looking for my best friend.

Joel: Calm down. Yasmin, if you don't come to school without you saying anything, they might think the same thing happened to you. We'll go looking for her tonight.

Lauren: Besides...I don't think it would be a good idea to leave Tiffany alone. She's your best friend too. You can't leave her alone at school, you two need to support each other.

Yasmin: Alright...I'll go to school.
