The setting is 1995 in Jamesville, Victoria, Australia. It's a small town, to the point were there is only one school. There is no internet or phone connection, and everyone knows everyone. There is a small hospital, a few family farms, one garage, a small school, a small cafe and a servo which is run by the Zhao family where everyone goes shopping because there is no supermarket
