Wayne had company the next morning. We broke the record with the most people in his house: three people.

Lace decided to come by in the morning to have breakfast with us. But we were not just eating and a good time--we were planning to get Pierre and try to see what he really wants to do.

"Well, first we have to get to his headquarters," Wayne said, cutting his scrambled egg.

"No, duh." Lace poured some maple syrup onto his pancakes.

"What I was trying to say is how we should get into his HQs."

"We just go in there." Lace shrugs. "It's not difficult."

"But we can't..."

I turned to Wayne. "We can't what?"

"We can't get caught," he finished seriously.

"But you're friends with Pierre, right?"

"No way." Lace's eyes widened at Wayne. "You're friends with that dude?"

"Hey, hey, hey! I'll be put to good use--" He nodded. "I'll be the spy."

I chuckled. "Wayne the angel spy."

Wayne glared at me. "Shut up, Mjalmersson."

"Okay, so we can just go in, and..." Lace's voice faded. He made an inquired look. "Wait, why are we even doing this?"

I cleared my throat.

"Oh, right, your wife." Lace began to cut through his pancakes. "So we go into the headquarters, grab your wife, and leave. The end." He shoves a piece of a pancake into his mouth.

"It's not that easy. You can't forget about his sidekicks," I reminded him.

He swallowed. "Oh yeah...I forgot about those dudes." He sighed.

"And we have to somehow disable Pierre from repeating these problems he's creating for us," I added in, pointing my fork in the air.

"Right." Wayne paused. He then turned to me with furrowed eyebrows."But don't you think that's a bit too much for one day? That's like winning a whole war."

"Why get what we want when we know that it can happen again? Let's finish this once and for all," I told him.

Lace rose his eyebrows. "He does have a point," He eats another bite of pancakes.

"Hm." Wayne frowned while thinking, tapping his fork against his plate. "Okay. But I won't be surprised if we lose."

"Oh... What do you mean by 'losing'?" I asked him, beginning to cut through my pancakes.

"Well, we can fail to get your wife back or one of us can..." Wayne gritted his teeth.

"Die?!" Lace let out a burst of laughter. "Is that what you're trying to say?"

"Well, it is true!"

I halted in my cutting. "Don't let that ruin your confidence! You're on the friendly side of that guy, so he won't kill you!"

Wayne stared at us with trepidation in his eyes. "What about if he kills one of you guys?"

"Wayne, that's the last thing we should worry about," I told him. "So, since you are the spy because you are friends with Pierre and are kinda of unsure of rescuing and being in the action, you go to Pierre's office and try to disable his plans. Y'know, such as deleting his stuff..."

Wayne nodded his head. "Sounds good. I practically know his way through his computer since he trusts me so much..." He sighs, saddening his facial expression. "He's gonna hate me so much."

"Let 'im hate you then. He's evil," Lace scoffs.

I turned to Lace. "Lace, you can be like my guard." I pointed to him with my fork. "You try to fight off people who try to catch me while saving my wife. Sounds good?"

He nods his head with a considering look. "Makes sense."

"And I'll be the one who'll get her," I finished off.

"So we're putting our lives at risk just because of your wife?" Wayne asked me flatly.

"This isn't only for my good, but also for your guys' good. We need to destroy Pierre so that he wouldn't destroy us. He doesn't only kidnap wives, y'know." I paused, contemplating what I just said. "But if he did, that'll be weird."

"Why'd he steal your wife?" Wayne gave me an inquired look.

"So that it'll be easier to attack him, that's why!" Lace blurted out with energy, throwing his hands in the air. "Pierre thinks that without his wife, Toosk'll be so sad and so weak, so then he goes WAHBAM! and wipes 'im out! It's that simple!"

"Ah..." Wayne nods his head, understanding. "But why would he want to do that?"

Lace shrugged with a slanted mouth.

I gazed at them both. "So, are we ready to go?"

"After I'm done with this breakfast." Lace ate a piece of his pancakes. "You know about Pierre's telepathic mind-controlling thing, right, Wayne?"

Wayne turns to lace. "The other world thing? Yeah, he explained that to me." He ate some pieces of pancakes.

"You know how to escape from that?" Lace continued on.

"Yup."

Lace raised his eyebrows. "Wow, the guy does trust you."

"And he's gonna regret it," I added in with a growing smirk. "Big time."
