Part 28

I haven't left Matts side since that night. Even when Rachel and him would go somewhere to eat Matt or I would suggest a double date but I think Rachel is suspicious.

“Matt lets go we got to buy some drinks and stuff for Cameron’s party tonight.” Rachel said walking into the room.

“Mal you want to come with?” Matt asked before getting up.

“Yeah let me grab my-“I was cut off by Rachel.

“Okay what’s going on? You two have been inseparable for 2 weeks now.” Rachel plopped down on the couch.

“Nothing we just-“I cut Matt off.

“Matt, you’ve got to tell her sooner or later.” I said looking at my lap.

“Rachel listen I’ve been suffering with depression. The other night I tried to take my own life but Mal stopped me and has been helping me. I’m already feeling 10x better.” Matt explained with glassy eyes.

“Matt oh my God why didn’t you tell me.” Rachel said sobbing.

“Babe I didn’t want to hurt you.” Matt sighed.

“Its fine it’s just you’ve got to tell me when things like this are going on.” Rachel explained.

“Okay I will. Now we have to explain to the rest. I’m really nervous.” Matt dropped his head down.

“We will be by your side Matt.” I gave him a hug.

“That’s right!” Rachel said, joining our hug.

We called everyone down to the living room and explained to them everything. Everyone was speechless, then Taylor broke the silence.

“So this is why you’ve been Mr. Steal MY girl?” he smiled a little and gave matt a hug.

“Matt we are so sorry we’ve been terrible not to notice.” Shawn said holding McKenzie’s hand.

“It’s okay, I’m really a lot better. Now let’s get turnt for my boys’ birthday!” Matt said with a smile.

“Matt are you sure you’re okay with the party?” Cameron said wiping away his tears.

“Defiantly, it’s your birthday bro I’m not letting this reason to celebrate go to waste.” Matt said showing an even bigger smile. I grabbed his and reached my other hand out to Taylor.

Later on we all got ready for the party, probably the last party of the summer so we will make it a night to remember.

I went down stairs with to find Taylor and Matt talking while making chip dip. I walked up to them, “need any help?” I asked while hugging Matt from the side.

“Nah we got this babe” Taylor said pulling my face to his by my chin for a kiss.

“YO BOOTY HOLES WAT YALL MAKIN IN HUR OTHER THAN DOOKIE” Kenz yelled while doing some kind of weird possessed dance, maybe it was just the nae nae McKenzie style? Who knows?

“YO WHAT UP ASSWIPE WE MAKIN CHIP DIP YOU DIP STICK” Taylor yelled hysterically. Matt just stood there with a small smile. I can’t stand to see him unhappy.

“Matt come help me wrap Cameron’s present.” I suggested holding out my hand. He grabbed my hand and I dragged him upstairs. “Matt what’s wrong?”

“Nothing, why?” He said with a confused face.

“You don’t seem yourself again today.” I said worried.

“I’m fine I didn’t laugh at McKenzie and Taylor that much because I was trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with them.” He laughed, I missed that laugh.

“No one will ever know.” I laughed and got out the wrapping paper. I put the present in a box and wrapped it then put in in another box and wrapped it. Finally I put the present into the last box and wrapped the large box.

Me and Matt went down stairs and the party was starting. Everyone had drinks in their hands and had already eaten most of the snacks. Then it was time for presents!

“Cameron, this one is from me.” I handed him a small gift bag and a card.

“WOAH MAL THANK YOU SO MUCH OH MEH SURPLE” Cameron screamed.

“WAT IS IT OMG” McKenzie yelled.

“A NEW PAIR OF BEATS SIGNED BY DRAKE AND KENDRICK LEMARE” McKenzie screamed before grabbing them and running away.

“She will give them back I promise. I got her some too but hers comes with Drake VIP tickets and Harry Styles signature too.” I laughed.

“Okay then, next present.” Cameron was acting like a 5 year old.

“This one is from me babe.” Saige said handing him a bag full of wrapped presents.

“WHAT IS IT OMG?” I yelled excitedly.

“A new life proof, A new Hoodie, New vans, and a box of flavored magnum condoms…” Cameron said winking at Saige.

“Okay enough of the sexy talk, this ones from all of us.” I handed him the large box. He opened the first box then the next then the final box.

“WHAT OH EM GGEEEE CAR KEYS? WHAT IS THIS TO?” Cameron ran to the garage and there sat his brand new red hot Lambo. He ran up to it and hugged it.

“So you like it?” I laughed before I was attacked by Cameron hugging me.

“Happy Birthday Cameron Alexander Dallas. Love you long time.” I hugged him tighter.
