I pouted when Aoi left the room 'seems like my fun is over... for now' I thought just before an arm dropped itself across my shoulders "hey uru?" Kai said as Reita walked out of the room following behind Aoi.
"What is it?" I asked while putting on my belt. "do you whats wrong with Aoi, did you guys have a fight or something/" I shook my head and smirked "No nothing like that, but i think i have a fairly good idea of whats eating at him."
"Please enlighten us" Kai said curious to my idea " I think he may like me... as more that a friend" i said and I heard Ruki say right after "soo .. do you like him that way?" I shrug Kai off and turn to look at the two of them "Honestly right now, i find him incredibly handsome and sexy, he's fun to be around ... so who knows maybe I do ... but i've never really thought about it before" I said as I started to trail off into my thoughts.
'Maybe I do' I thought 'i've never really thought about it... AOi is undoubtedly sexy and cute... he makes me laugh more than the others and he's always been there for me even when Reita my high school friend couldn't be... I've always thought of him as my best friend nothing more... but what would happen if i started to look at him as more' just as that thought crossed my mind the image of Aoi's flat pale chest and warm smile flashed through my head and a wide blush came across my face.
"Uru ....Uruuu...Uruha!" Kai called out knocking me away from my thoughts with a waving hand in my face. "yeah sorry...what is it? i asked with a smile and he tilted his head " we're heading out , you coming?"
"oh!" I said jumping to grab my shoes "yeah give me one sec" I then slipped on my shoes and grabbed my bag then followed the two shorter men out of the dressing room, just in time for us to run into Reita who was on his way back.
"Ah Uru , do you need a ride home today" He asked me and I nodded " yeah if you wouldn't mind , my cars still in the shop" Reita waved his hand slightly at my words "it's no problem , but we better get going , it looks like rain and the cover on my mustang is stuck again."
"Alright , see you guys" I said as Reita and i waved our goodbyes to Ruki and Kai as we headed towards the parkin garage.
Once in there we stopped on either side of Reitas mustang and as we got in Reita said "say Kouyou" he used my given name something he didn't usually do unless it was important, so his words caught my attention very quickly "what is it?" I asked as he cranked the engine
"we've been friends longer than any of the others and you know you can be completely honest with me okay" He said as he pulled out of the parking garage and into the busy streets of tokyo."Aw Akira are you worried about me " I said using his own given name seeing as thats what he was doing at the moment.
Reita nodded slightly and we stopped at a red light. he then looked at me "I am worried, Aoi really likes you kouyou even if he's scared to admit it, but i know all about your bad hibit of playing with you r food before eating it .. and a-lot of times that habit has gotten you hurt .. I never cared about the other guys you dated, but this is Aoi ... and I don't want to see either of you hurt"
I was speechless for the rest of the ride home and when Reita finally came to a stop in my apartment buildings parking lot, I just sat there for a moment "Akira" I said just quiet enough for Reita to hear "What if I'm not sure how I feel.. liking Aoi is almost like liking you, It's something i've never thought about, but earlier I thought that maybe it wouldn't be all bad.. but i'm still so unsure... and I really don't want to hurt him " With the thought that i could possibly really hurt Aoi in my mind now I began to tear up.
I covered my eyes with my hands but Reita removed them and held them in his own. "kouyou, Aoi is confused too, he doesn't want to except that fact the one he likes is a guy and you can;t except the one you like is someone so close to you, so why don't you two talk so you can work all this out together.. and don't worry I'll always bee there for you if you need a shoulder to cry one."
Reita smiled and patted my head "Now get inside before it starts to rain and we both get soaked" I smiled and got out of the mustang but before going inside i walked around to Reitas side of the car and looked down at him.
"what is it?" he asked just before I cupped his face in my hands and kissed his lips gently "thank you Akira, I really am very lucky to have you as a friend" Reita scowled as i let go of his face "Don't turn this into some chick flick moment on me now" he said and we both laughed together before he drove away .
I then went inside my building, made my way to my apartment and relaxed myself into a warm bath that i could really think in.
