Breath.
Just breath.
You felt yourself cowering against the cold concrete wall, your nails like claws dragging across the solid material. Leaving small but noticeable marks for the naked eye to see. You felt your heart pounding and blood rushing inside of your ears. Your eyes widened, trying to see what you couldn't. You slowly slid down the wall onto your rear, her back absorbing the coldness around you. It was here. They were here.
You whimpered as you felt your shoulders become heavy with strange guilt and sorrow. Your thoughts raced with many bad and possibly insane ideas. You were not insane, well not yet. You hovered your hands over your eyes and quietly whimpered. Your body shaking wildly and uncontrollably hard. The air around you held a strange aura, something you could not trust. You couldn't escape from this hell, you knew all too well you would not make it out alive even though your best attempts. You lowered your hands to your ribs, a sudden rushing of pain waved over you. You cried out in pain as blood had been gushing from that spot until you had bandaged it. SCP-106 had gotten you even no matter how fast you ran or how many corners you turned. Your eyes played the scene over, crawling needlessly throughout those long and colourless halls. Desperate to be free. You were never free. You never had been. You looked around, fat and wet tears had run down your face and were now stained on your neck. You were in the SCP foundation where humans seemed to be absolute garbage to whatever seemed to lay in wait here. Your teeth clattered together. Your hands somehow managed to push themselves up so you were on your knees. You bowed down and tucked your arms under yourself so you were curled up in a tight ball. You couldn't stop shaking no matter how hard you tried. You feasibly tried to calm yourself by positive words which only got drowned out by negative and sinister ones. You wanted out. You needed to be freed.
You raised yourself to your knees, sobbing. You were so tired, you could fall down and sleep where you stood but you would die painfully. It all seemed so pointless, life. You were just a name for a being. You had created nothing, we think we accomplish something by the naive brain of learning something. You had not created anything. You were worthless. It was hell before you ended up in the SCP foundation, now it seemed like heaven. You could finally die without question. No worries or bills to pay. You had no children, no family left. A part of your living mind told you to keep going on but you knew better, you could not. You had nothing left here for you do too. You staggered forward on your feet, limping as your torso ached with pain. You were in the aftermath of a breach, one of those which lasted for longer than needed. You hissed through your teeth as you continued onward. The halls were a maze but the prize was there, somewhere, at the end of it all. You knew what it was, it was all too obvious for your mind. It seemed no one was around, no one to comfort you but you were not naive. You were being watched, you had to be. You glanced at a doorway to the next hallway, a security camera was painted red. You didn't bother starring at it for too long, it was nothing you could die too. Too simple of machinery to work with. the walls seemed to get more colourless as you walked along, still shaking. You gripped your shoulders, trying to keep heat from the freezing place. Perhaps you would die to frostbite, that was peaceful. You let out a heavy sigh as you stopped at a door, turning, you quickly read the office name and entered. You gently shut the door behind you but didn't bother to lock it, whatever would come in would kill you. Death. Death was all this place cared about. You were not naive.
