[Chapter 7] "She's here with me" Part 1

Chapter 7 – “She’s here with me”

                I stared at myself in the mirror; my long blue hair was pulled up with a black ribbon and I was wearing a pale blue dress, which was nearly white (image on the side). I sure hope I wasn’t over doing it…but I just really want to look nice, maybe he’ll see me more than a friend one day, but most likely not.

             I heard a light knock on the door and I rushed over and opened it. I was face to face with Ryuzaki, he smiled as his eyes scanned me. “You look lovely. Are you ready to go?” I blushed at the complement and nodded, grabbing my shoes before walking out with him.

              When we were in the limo I couldn’t stop looking at him, he is wearing his usual but I noticed he seemed to be smiling much more than usual. It was nice being here with him, he was so kind to invite me. I put my focus on the scenery outside my window, watching the beautiful fall leafs cover the grass.

~Ryuzaki’s POV~

                I attempted not to look at her to much because some reason I get a really strange feeling every time I do. When I knew her gaze wasn’t on me I feel to the temptation and looked at her, she was so beautiful. The color of that dress complemented her so well and her smile…I couldn’t stop staring now. I knew I shouldn’t have looked, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to pull away.

                Her stunning eyes looked right into mine, she tilted her head as she quoted me from that one day I caught her staring at me, “Is everything alright? You’ve been staring at me.” She giggled.

                She was so adorable, my face became hot and I turned to look out the window, “Yes…everything’s perfect.” I said the last part quietly making sure she didn’t hear. 

                I was falling for someone… but not only someone… I was falling for Yuri Miyuki.

~Yuri’s POV~

                My heart skipped a beat when I saw Ryuzaki blushing…but maybe it was just my eyes playing a trick on me. I smiled and focused on him, losing track of time. The car stopped and Ryuzaki glanced as if to see if I was there. His eyes looked as if they lit up and he grabbed my hand leading me out.

                The coffee shop looked gorgeous and the sign outside said ‘cake special’, not surprised Ryuzaki wanted to come today. He let go of my hand and then opened the door for me, I smiled and walked in but got bumped into by a tall man with short brown hair and green eyes.

                “Oh. I’m sorry.” He said, his voice was cool and deep. He adjusted his glasses and gave me a wink. I smiled not trying to look awkward, even though I was. “So are you here alone?” The stranger took my hand and attempted to flirt.

               Ryuzaki came up behind me and seemed slightly upset, but didn’t say anything. I glanced over at him giving him a pleading look and as if it was premeditated, he put his arm around my waist and glared at the man. “Sorry, but she’s here with me.” I was shocked at how much venom was in his speech.

                The man just let go of my hand and stepped back, “I apologize. I hope you two have a lovely afternoon.” He moved out of our way as we walked to a booth, his arm still around me. We sat across from each other.

                I couldn’t help but to notice how his mood seemed to change, he seemed as if he was in his own world. “Ryuzaki?”

               “Hmm?” He looked up with a small frown. It broke my heart seeing him look so sad, something was bothering him and I was going to find out what… maybe then I can help him as much as he has helped me.
