Chapter 95
BLAKE'S POV
"BAKE!" Dakota squealed as she ran out of the house.
"Hey Dakota." I smiled, bending down, allowing her to run into my arms. I stood up and rested her on my hip.
"She's so adorable! How old is she again?" My friend Brianna asked.
"Two."
"Awh!" She exclaimed,
"Ooh dat?" Dakota asked, looking up at me.
"That's my friend Brianna. Can you say Brianna?"
"Anna!"
"That is so cute." Brianna smiled.
"Hi!" Dakota exclaimed, waving at Brianna.
"Hi." Brianna giggled. I looked back at my house and saw my mom leaning in the doorway.
"Anyway, I should probably get home. See you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, bye."
"Bye." I said as I walked back to my house.
"She wanted to say hi to you, I hope you don't mind." My mom said, taking Dakota from my arms.
"It's fine. Brianna really liked her."
"Oh, so that's her name. I've seen you walking home with her for the past few days."
"Yeah." I said.
"Ooh, does someone have a crush?" My dad winked, walking in.
"What! No?" I said, looking down at my feet, hoping my hair would hide the blush on my cheeks.
"He's lying! He likes her!" My dad exclaimed.
"How do you know?" My mom asked.
"Because, I acted the same way around my parents when I told them about you."
"Awwh." My mom smiled.
"Gross." I sneered, going to the stairs.
"Goss!" Dakota copied me as my parents kissed.
"Yeah!" I chuckled.
"Look what you're teaching your sister. Go upstairs and do your homework." My mom laughed.
***
"Blake! Christian! We're leaving!" My mom called. My parents were going on a date tonight while we watched Dakota.
"I can trust you with Dakota, correct? You know the rules?"
"Yes, yes. No sugar, keep the doors locked, don't answer the door or phone." Christian and I recited the speech we had heard about a thousand times.
"Okay, we're trusting you, boys." My mom said.
"We got it, we got it. Dakota made it to two, correct?" I smirked and my mom sighed.
"Call us, Uncle Brandon or Aunt Bailey if you have a problem, okay?"
"We know, we know. Go, bye, have fun." I said.
"Okay, love you." My mom said as they left.
CHRISTIAN'S POV
I heard something outside and looked to see Brianna hitting a ball against the wall of her house with a tennis raquet.
I know she's Blake's friend and he has a crush on her, but she's hot. I have to try.
"I'm going outside!" I called.
