2. All alone except Conner.

"i'm sorry ad! you know i can't help it." haley pleaded for the 10th time in the bad 2 minutes. "i know. but why are your parents making you move to your aunts. Thats so far away." i sighed. she hugged me. "i'm so sorry addie. i'm going to miss you!" she said as she got up.

"i'll miss you too. i'm gonna come over first thing tomorrow before you leave!" i said as she gave me one last hug. "okay. see you in the morning" she replied as she got in the car. i waved bye and walked to conner. "so..what was that about?" he asked as we all got in the car.

"oh..that. she's moving." i said sadly. "at least you still have me" Conner reasured me. i lightly smiled knowing he was right. we parked in the drive way and got out. i hesated remembering his words "i'll see you after school" they replayed in my head all day.

making my way inside my mom looked at me. "your step father is waiting in your room. he has something he has to tell you. i'm sorry adeline." she replied as she hugged me. confused i walked up stairs slowly with conner behind me. "you'll be okay. remember bang on the wall twice if you need me"

i walked into my room and saw him laying on my bed. "shut the door. and come here." i did as i was told knowing i'd get punished if i didn't. my life is terrible. and you don't even know the half of it. his hand began trailing down my body. slowly and suductivly he took his shirt off. 

he's 25. i'm 17 this isn't legal. its not concential. but if i talk i'd be dead. i know i would. he forced my lips onto his. i mean. it's not like he's bad looking but he's my step dad. this isn't right. i just want it too stop. i thought my mom would have changed. and this is why i haven't forgave her.

he pushed me on the bed. remembering what conner said i possitioned my self so i could eaisly bang on the wall for him once he tried to put himself inside. he began kissing me again. he tried removing my shirt. i wouldn't alow it i hit the wall. twice. and incame Conner. 

"Dad, stop. she's had enough for today." he said. he dad looked at him and back at me. i closed my eyes. and felt a sting across my face. "next time don't bitch out. or i will hurt you. and i don't mean with my hands." he said as he walked up to conner. "and if you stop me again. you'll be next." 

"are you okay! did he hurt you?" conner asked running over to me pulling me into his arms as he laid back on the bed. i cried. i just layed there in his arms and cried. "shh. add. it's going to be alright." he said rubbing his thumb across my cheek. "i promise"

he finished. i looked up at him and slightly smiled. he placed a kiss on my forehead. "try and get some sleep." he said as he stood up and placed the blanket over me. "thanks con. lock my door before you close it..please." i said he nodded and smiled. "okay. and you're welcome. " he said

it's been a week since Haliey left. you know what that means? only 3 more days till i get to meet the guy that saved my life. i woke up to find him in my bed. i looked under the blanket. 'naked' i said to my self as i threw clothes on and dashed to the bathroom

i locked the door and slid down the wall. just like usual. i grabbed the blade. i went perfectly accross. the blood flew down my arm. i went deeper this time. i've never gone this deep before i heard fait shouting out side the door then everything went black. 

a bright light at the end of a tunnel. i started towards it. "wait." i heard a voice yell from behind me . i turned around "justin?" i asked as i got closer and saw him. it was him. it was the one. the only. justin bieber. "don't do this. not yet. you still have my meet and greet. do you wanna miss that?"

he asked. i thought for a second. "no i guess not." i replied. he looked at me. and he smiled. "follow me. it's a long walk" he said as we walked the oppisite way of the light. "where am i?" i asked as we  walked down the tunnel like thing. "in between" he replied. i looked at him. "what do you mean?"

i asked him. he looked at me. "sit down." he replied motioning to the bench. i sat next to him and he told me. he told me how this is where you go if you aren't nesicaraly meant to die. when you get to choise. you have one person who directs you. it'll be your choice.you can go to the light. or not.

i hugged him. "thank you for saving me." i replied. as i said that i heard Conner. "come on. Add dont die on me. please. come back. wake up." i closed my eyes. 

they fluttered opened. everything was so bright. "OMG. DOCTOR. SHE'S WAKING UP." i heard karla scream. karla's my cousin. she was there the first time i was ever in a hospital. conner gripped my hand tighter. "i'm so so sorry i couldn't save you in time."

he said his eyes puffy and blood shot tears coming down. i slowly and softly brushed my thumb against his hand. "it's okay" i said weakly. "i love you conner." i said agian. alittle stronger. his weak smile he leaned down and kissed my hand. "i love you too addie. i'm not letting this happen again" 

he stood up. "i'll be back." he said. no idea where he's going the doctor shinned a very bright flash light into my eyes making me squint. "follow the light adeline" he said. i did so. "you'll need some rest. you can go home tomorrow." he said as he walked out. "omg! you gave me a fright!"

karla said. karla was from a whole nother country than me. england i think. "i'm sorry." i replied weakly. "omg no. don't be. i'm sorry i've been so far away!" she said hugging me lightly. i smiled weakly.

"hey, adeline. would you talk to a detective?" conner asked as we ate our ice cream. "about what?" i replied "my dad. what he did to you. to get him locked up. forever." he replied pausing between almost every word. i swollowed my ice cream and thought about it for a second.

"yeah." i replied. "okay. i'll be back." he replied. about a minute later he came in with a a man. about early 40s late 30s. "hi. i'm Dective Bron. i heard you had something to tell me." he said as he pulled a chair next to my bed side. he pulled out a tablet book and a pen. "uhm. well.my step dad. he .. he does things." i replied . not looking up. "and what do you mean by things?"

about 2 hours later. i was done. i told him everything. "thank you addie. he won't be hurting you anymore. i'm sending people to pick him up now so you can safely go home." he said as he shook my hand and left. conner gave me a hug i stood up. and hugged him back.

"thank you so much conner! you saved me" i replied. he smirked and placed a kiss on my cheek. "anything for you. i didn't like seeing you go through that everyday." he said looking down. i lifted his chin. "hey if it wasn't for you. i would have been dead along time ago." i said with a weak smile.
