[Mother's p.o.v, 3 days earlier]

One of my ships that had sailed to the Dragon's Edge docked at the coast. A younger boy, looking to be around y/n's age, jumped off the boat in a hurry. He sprinted through the village to get to my house. He frantically knocked on my door.

"M/n! M/n!"

"What's wrong?" I asked, cracking open the door a tiny bit.

"Y/n.." he hesitated. "Y/n has been captured by dragon hunters!"

I had a bit of a late reaction, but it was a big one. I grabbed the boy by the shoulders and shook him violently.

"What? Where is she?!? Where is my baby!?!"

"S-still at Dragon's Edge! If we prepare an army and battle ships now, we might will.. will be able to save her!"

I hesitated for a second, thinking about whether or not I should do this. She's my daughter, of course I'll do this!

"Gather the strongest vikings we have! Tell them to sharpen their weapons till they're able to pierce through obsidian! Tell them that they must be strong and fierce enough to scare off a Bewildebeast! What ever you have to do to get them on board, please do! I need my daughter back!"

The boy nodded his head to every sentence I spat out at him. I let go of him and he ran; faster than I've seen a viking run. I slammed my door shut and sat of the floor, my back sliding on the wooden door as I fell. I put my hand up to my head as if thinking up a plan. Right in front of me was a photo of my daughter and I next to a sunken ship. Her sense of wander and exploration can sometimes get her into trouble, but it's what I love about her. A sudden wave if realization crashed over me immediately. I sat up and grabbed my biggest weapons off my wall. Staring at it, I thought to myself; They just want a fight, those dimwitted dragon riders. But I'll give them more than a fight.

I'll give them a war...
