Was it You?

Chapter One

"Darkness, huhh? Why, why is it dark?"
As I wonder around and can't really see anything,
"Alex!"
I heard a very familiar voice, I quickly looked behind me to see who was calling me, I saw a bright light and a very vauge figure, maybe it was someone I knew, but I can't really see because it's too blurry. As I go forward,he grabbed my hand and  he hugged me, tightly.
"Alex, I love you" he said to me with a sweet tone and I saw him getting closer to me and our nose  touched. I closed my eyes and prepared for a kiss.
"I love you Alexhh! Erhh! Ehh."
I suddenly woke up because of my alarm clock and remembered that weird dream. I stood up and fixed myself up for school. And the usual Gray, waiting for me outside my apartment, we don't go to the same school but it's in the same route so we always walk together.
"Gray, Let's go!" and there I  go running down the stairs as fast as I can, excitedly running to Gray, but Then I was running too fast and accidentally tripped
"ahh! Alex" Gray luckily caught me before I hit the ground. As I look up I saw Gray's face and I though to myself, he kinda looks like the guy in my dream, or maybe not. While deep in thought I didn't notice that I was staring at him seriously.
"ahh.. A-Alex?" I snapped out, stood up and wobbled a little. I looked at Gray and smiled at his cute blushing face. He was just too cute.
"Let's go Gray"
We were just walking quietly, I took a glance at Gray. He looks really handsome and now he is way taller than me. He has dark brown fluffy hair and dark green eyes. He is very fit and healthy, he must be very popular, suddenly a random thought went in my head, I wonder if he likes someone in school? Or maybe he already has a girlfriend. My mouth was left open in shock. Maybe his girlfriend is popular and hot, Or maybe it's a fluffy cute one. In the end i just sighed. I looked at him and remembered the first time we met, it was the time we moved to the village I was very shy and can't really make friends even in school, I saw him in front of my house then he saw me. We got along pretty fast, everyday we would play together and he was really playful since he was 2 years younger then me. We had sleepovers, trips around the village, and fight bullies togethere. It was kinda hard to sleep beside him beacause he was a very huggy sleeper. *sigh* I wonder if we could still have sleepovers again. a sudden thought popped in my head... maybe he was the one from my dream? just walking, still trapped in my head.
"Yoh! Alex!" I snapped away from thought I looked behind me and it was Mark. We were almost near my school, Mark always meet me here.
"ahh! Gray, see you later!" I smiled and waved. I watched as he did the same and walk the other way. I looked at Mark, he looks so cool With that dirty blonde hair and dark blue-ish green eyes.... I then suddenly remembered how me and Mark met. It was the first day of high school we accidentally bumped into each other,he was not very nice. He glared at me and i glared back . We would argue out loud and be heard by the whole school but soon it became a normal thing to the other students hearing our fights. One day I was accidentally caught up in a fight, I was beaten up and just when I thought that a was about to die, he came and saves me from them, he looked at me and grinned "Only I could beat you up, just me." he said and he grabbed my hand and took me to the clinic. An from that day on we became friends. I just kept on walking, then suddenly a random though went in my head. Maybe, just maybe he was the one in my dream?

"Oi, snap out of it you might hit your hea--" Mark warned me.
*DONG!*
I accidentally hit my head on the pole and fell on my butt. Mark grabbed my shoulder and touched my forehead.
"You ok Alex?"
 I looked up, And saw Mark's face it was kinda near, I just continued at looking at him. He looks so charming, no wonder why girls dig on him.
"what are you staring at? Oi! Alex snap out"
I suddenly stood up and looked at Mark, he has a weird grin on his face it's like he's reading me. Looking straight inside me.
"w-why are you looking at me like that? I blushed as i asked. He just smiled and took my hand and went in the school. Mark is still holding my hand dragging me into my classroom, we don't go to the same classes but end at the same time.
"there, go in you might be late. I'll get yah later."
He smiled at me and left. It was already lunch break, me and Mark would eat together. I was eating my home made lunch. I kinda like eating togethere with Mark it feels, nice and warm.
"you're really like a kid" he smiled at me and swiped his finger on my lips to clean it off, Then he ate it. That made me blush and look away.
"you!! Why do you have to do that?!"
He just laughed at me and smiled warmly.
"You were just so cute"
That made me blush even harder and made my heart skip a beat. What is this weird feeling?
"Alex, what are you gonna do after school?"
"Ah.. I would go straight home and visit Gray."
Mark paused for a second and looked at me. He kinda looks angry, it made the shiver a little.
"Alex always be on guard when you're with that guy. You never know when will he attack you." he said to me and I got irritated on what he said about Gray.
"what are you talking about? Gray would never hurt me."
I answered with an angry tone. Why would he talk about Gray like that. He never even talked to him, and yet he talks about  him like that.
"Not attack as in hit you, attack as in push you down and touch you all over."
I got angryier and immediately stood up from my seat. Mark suddenly grabbed my hand, and looked at me with a worried face.
"Im sorry, just don't lose guard."
I snatched my hand from him and left. I still feel the tightness of his grip on my hand. Why does he need to warn me like that, and why did he show me that kind of expression. I kept on walking and still think about our conversation. I just went back to class and finish what I need to do. Classes are done and I'm still thinking about what happend earlier. I was walking down the hall then suddenly my phone rang, it was Gray
"ahh Gray! You're here? Meet you at the gate!"
Gray said he will bring me home today. I ran out as fast as I could, *bump* I accidentally bumped Mark.
"Woah! What's the hurry?"
"ahh! It's Gray he'll pick me up today!"
Before he even got to say anything I quickly ran then looked back and Smiled.
"bye Mark see you tomorrow!"
He tried to hide his flushed face, it was very rare to see him like that so I continued on running to Gray. There he was standing near the gate, waiting for me paciently.
"Gray! I'm here!"
I ran towards the gate, he smiled happily as he saw me running to him. Then suddenly a stopped, I saw a girl with him, is she his girlfriend? I felt a small pain on my chest, it felt tight. Started shaking.
"Ahh Alex! I want you to meet someone, this it Marie. She is my cousin."
As I heard that she was his cousin, the pain in my chest quickly went away.
"Nice to meet you Marie, I'm Alex."
Gray explained that Gray just saw her by the side and wanted her to meet me. In the end of the cousin conversation, me and Gray went to this amusment park. We went to a photo booth and took pictures together like what we used to do before, but one picture stood out, it was a picture that Gray kissed my cheek! He asked me if he could keep that picture "yeah you can keep that! Don't lose it!"
And after playing some other games we started to go home. It was very cold and I forgot my jacket at home and we're still kinda far away. Gray noticed that I was getting cold so he took of his jacket and lend it to me.
"Thank you Gray but aren't you cold?" he just smiled and lifted his hand.
"Maybe I won't get cold if you hold my hand" I smiled and grabbed his hand, it was kinda embarrassing and it made my heart beat faster, I looked at him and I think he feels the same. What is this weird feeling? Gray gripped my hand tighter and smiled at me, and so together we went home holding hands.
