Oka's eyes fluttered open. Sitting up, she stretched, her arms reaching towards the ceiling. She suddenly let her arms go limp after feeling a sharp pain in her shoulder.
"Owwww," Oka moaned, putting her head back against her pillow, "The person who attacked me is still on the loose."
She squinted, the bright light on the ceiling hurting her eyes. She reached for her phone, which was on a small nightstand-like table by her bed. She turned on her phone, and opened messenger. Her fingers were fast as she began texting her mom. Her phone case was black, with a skull on the back. The corners of her phone glistened under the bright light while the case was left in the shadows.
"Hey mom. I hav 2 tell u about the person who attacked me."
She hit the blue arrow that was the send button. It made a satisfying whhhooopp noise and sent. Oka sat up, and looked out the window of the door. Next, she looked down at her outfit. The spotted hospital gown was wrinkled. The gown wasn't the only messy thing. Oka's hair was messy and there were stray hairs and tangles all over. She looked back down at her phone. She then began watching YouTube tutorials on summoning demons. The creepy information filled her mind, but there was a feeling deep in her gut that she couldn't shake.
"What if the person attacks me again?" Oka thought.
She blocked out the thought. But, she had seen her attacker's face. She was a target even more so than before.
"At least I have Taro. And I can just summon a demon to protect me!" A new strength filled Oka, "I don't need to worry about her! I have the power of Occult!"
Satisfied, Oka put away her phone. She smiled and looked down.
"Demons, I am counting on you!"
A giggle could be heard from the other side of her door.
"Uh, anyone there?"
Ayano pressed her back against the wall. She squeezed her eyes shut and didn't breathe, careful not to reveal herself.
"Oh no. Oka, I'm so sorry. I stayed to long," Ayano thought to herself.
Shaking, Oka got out of her bed. She felt weak and her shoulder hurt. Wobbling, she made her way to the door.
"Hey Taro, is that you?"
She placed her hand on the shinny handle for the door. She pushed down on the handle and the door swung open. Oka's eyes went wide, and she could hear her heart pounding.
"A-ah...AHHH!"Oka screamed in fear, but was quickly silenced by Ayano covering Oka's mouth with her hand.
"Shhhh, stay quiet and I won't have to hurt you," Ayano bluffed.
Oka shut her eyes tight, and Ayano could feel Oka trembling.
"Now, I'm going to walk out, and you're going to follow me. We will use the back door," Ayano commanded, trying to keep her frightening appearance, hiding the fact that she was restraining Oka as gently as she could.
Oka nodded her head quickly as Ayano released her, then followed Ayano through the quiet corridors. They kept walking until they reached the door, which Ayano opened as she signaled for Oka to go through, which she did reluctantly. Ayano then walked up to a car. Oka didn't follow.
"What...what do you want with me?" Oka asked, shaking, "Where are you trying to take me?"
Ayano sighed, and picked a bat up from under the car. Oka's eyes went wide, and she stumbled back before falling over."Someone help!" Oka screamed in protest, her heart pounding.
Oka continued to yell, but was soon silenced by Ayano stabbing her in the neck with a needle. It was a tranquilizer that was under the bat. Oka let out a quiet plea before her eyes closed. She fell over, but was caught by Ayano, who put Oka's head in her lap.
"I'm sorry, but I couldn't risk someone finding out about what happened," Ayano whispered to her, stroking Oka's hair.
Ayano froze. She could've killed Oka. Beat her to death with a bat, run her over with a car, or choked her behind the building. She didn't. And now, she had Oka resting in her lap.
"What have you done to me?" Ayano whispered in horror, "You made me weak. But what is this fuzzy feeling?"
Ayano felt another wave of shock.
"Is this..happiness?" Ayano talked to herself in disbelief.
The warm sun felt good against her skin, and the dull and dirty walls of the back of the hospital seemed lively. There was a parking lot, and each car seemed to stand out. Ayano giggled.
"I wonder...who do you think drives that van? I imagine someone muscular," Ayano asked Oka, who was currently unconscious.
Ayano quickly stood up shaking. Oka's head hit the floor but she remained motionless.
"What have you done to me?" Ayano was screaming now, "WHAT IS HAPPENING? And, why do I love this feeling so much?"
A tear rolled from her cheek.
"No!" Ayano cried out, "You took my Senpai! Only he could make me feel! Feel those jumbled up emotions..."
Ayano stared down at Oka, a cool breeze ruffling her hair.
"Will...will you be my Senpai?"
