Chapter 2

SAIKI P.O.V
If I want to find out why I can't read her mind, that's going to have to wait. So many guys are chasing her down the hall it's impossible to even get four feet close to her. I watch her using clairvoyance and notice her slipping into the girls bathroom, leaving her admirers outside.

I finally hear thoughts. "Ugh! I just need to calm down, I'm getting too worked up"

I think that came from L/n. Why can I suddenly read her mind?

I decided to leave it alone, even though this new girl was pretty intriguing.

I didn't grab anything to eat, so I could get to the roof quicker, I would prefer to be alone during lunch and that meant getting away from the idiots that follow me around.

Of course, they were already sitting in a circle, seemingly waiting for my arrival. I just sighed, annoyed as I was, and sat by Kaido.

"Wasn't that new girl the prettiest!" Kaido exclaimed, as soon as I sat down.

"Yeah I mean did you see her cans! Compared to Teruhashi, Teruhashi's flat, and did you see her as-" Toritsuka got cut off by Kuboyasu smacking him on the back of his head. "Quit being such a perv!"

Nendou was about to open his mouth, probably about to say something idiotic, before I look over in the distance and see Y/n trying to shift around unnoticed to eat in peace.

She's obviously failing, because I notice every guy ogling at her, practically looking for a chance to pounce.

I can't hear her thoughts anymore, that's weird, I guess when reading her mind it's on and off.

She looked over at us, with an unsure face. I hoped and prayed she'd second guess joining up with our group. Of course, because God hates me, she ran over here almost immediately.

"Hi! I-I don't know anyone else here except for you Saiki, and well, uh" she was quiet for a while. "C-Can I please sit here?"

Nobody gave her a answer the idiots just sat there blushing and literally drooling, all except Kuboyasu who just squinted at her. L/n sweat dropped and slowly backed away "Shit! See look what you've done Y/n"

Before she could leave I muttered a "Sure"

Her face lit up, genuinely. She sat down beside me and smiled really wide, although I was getting shot death glares by every other guy on the roof.

Toritsuka was thinking something inappropriate again while Kaido started babbling to himself about how pretty she is.

Kuboyasu just studied how she ate and talked and thought she was an okay person. I don't know why he felt the need to do so but whatever.

I was just staring at Y/n trying to figure out why I could only read her mind at certain times and why I couldn't see through to her skeleton.

Y/N P.O.V

Saiki keeps staring at me it's probably because of my multicolored eyes huh? I hate them so much!

Why couldn't I have just been born with one solid color. He starts thinking crazily about why he can't read my mind and see through me..huh? He likes my eyes! Who in their right mind would think that?

Boys compliment me quite a lot, so that's not why I'm surprised, but that doesn't sound like something a "Saiki" would say. After I blush Saiki looks puzzled then he asks me telepathically-

"What are you?"

Am I ready to tell him...why not, he must be a bit slow if he hasn't figured out already, so I'm sure their won't be a problem with me telling him?

"I'm L/n Y/n and I'm a psychic as well" I smiled. He didn't respond after a while so I began to get nervous. "S-Since I told you can you tell me a-about you"

"Yeah sure, I'm Saiki Kusuo, I'm a psychic, I'm plain and don't like people too much" he sounds like the exact opposite of me. "is there any other powers you have?"

"U-Um yeah I can turn invisible, read animals minds, bugs included. I can also stop time temporarily"

"Were you born with your powers L/n ?"

"Y-Yeah I'm just not that good at handling them so I got these from a very close friend" I said while holding up my necklace with antennae's on them.

"They'r similar to yours only you were yours on your head" I say in my head while pointing to my head, giving a close eyes smile.

The boys don't care what I do, they just stare at me drooling even though I look actually insane pointing to my head, while no words come from my mouth.

"Huh your good friend what's his name?" he paused. "Or her"

I chuckled. "He is a boy, so you were right the first time. He's my best friend Kusuke Saiki, similar surname to yours, huh?"

"Yeah...because that's my broth..b-b...brother" Saiki mumbled.

"Woooah that's so cool...S-Saiki?"

"Yeah"

"Do ya wanna be friends?"

"Ummm sure"
