Chapter nine: Man

“Is she there?” The man asks.

Taemin hesitatingly nods. “Who are you then, sir?”

“I'm a family friends of the Park's and you are?”

“I'm friends of Jimin at the university. ” Taemin answers not quite giving much information to the stranger he doesn't know.

Taemin felt a hand on his shoulder.

He turns to find Jimin's elder sister standing behind him. “Noona.”

She looks at him. “I'll talk to him, you go inside.”

Taemin was hesitant at first to just leave the woman behind for the circumstances that she just was newly discharged from the hospital. “But-”

She cuts him off. “I can handle this, go inside. ” She told him authoritatively.

He sighs, obliging.

“Tell me what the man looks like?” Jimin asks out of the blue.

“He's- , shit!” Taemin exclaimed.

The vehicle comes to stop as he hits the brake hard making everyone almost got out of their seats.

“The fuck!, is it a person?!” Jackson panics as Taemin just got hit something or someone obviously alive while driving.

Namjoon was about to open the car's door to check whatever it was that they've hitted being a responsible person he is, as the others we're in shocked but Jimin's voice stop him from opening the vehicles door.

“Hyung don't. ”

Namjoon turns to Jimin. “For fuck sake we-”

“Lock the windows and doors Taemin!” Jimin yells.

Taemin furrows his brows.

Jennie screams seeing that living creature seems to stand up on the ground slowly. This got everybody's attention as Taemin hurries to do what Jimin told him earlier.

“Drive!, drive!” Jackson yells.

Taemin steps on the accelerator driving past the creature that seems to be chasing them.

“I don't want to die.” Rosé cries beside Jennie.

“I need to stay here, I need to distract him..., just drive away from here.” Jimin's sighs.

Taehyung then held his shoulder down as he was about to try to move. “Man your sister told us to take you with us!, away from here, we promised...., she want you away from these monsters. ”

“No, we won't make it., don't worry I'll tail behind you until you get out of here , someone has to slow them down they won't stop knowing you know much as your not from here or either like us to understand. ” Jimin reasons out.

Jackson turns his head at the back to them. “What do you mean?, the people around here know your kind but is able to co-exist with your kind?”

Jimin nods reluctantly. “We don't hunt the people living amongst the town, we do hunt outside for its a treaty we respect with the locals years ago that what's my grandmother told me back then.”

As Taemin drives faster he abruptly stops again for an another beast is standing proudly an enormous ash colored wolf with its mouth salivating roars at them.

“Let me fucking out or else you all die!” Jimin yells.

Slowly the beast nears the vehicle but before it could Jimin rips off the car door off. Jimin's eyes we're pitch black as he look back his friends. “Stay here, I'll fucking talk some sense to him.”

Jimin follows his gaze at the other gray colored wolf behind who was chasing them now stands beside the ash furry one in front of them. “Let them pass through!” Jimin raised his voice taking a step towards the beast while inside the car behind him, his friends watch him talk.

The ash one slowly walks to the grassy side of the road after a minute they saw a man coming out who was clearly naked although the tall grass we're covering his private part.

“Kid, they saw too much already besides I don't think the screaming girl will be able to keep our secret.” The man laughs.

Jackson's spine run cold. “I think he wants Jennie to stay.”

“I'd got a proposition for you kids you all can go but the girl stays I think in that way it'll be mu-”

“Shut up bastard!”

“Come on I'm being kind enough?” The man sarcastically says, pausing. “To let the others go or will wait for hyung to come and sees the situation himself and get everyone killed, your lucky enough Sehun.” He said looking over the gray werewolf beside him. “And I we're the one's found you first, we could even let you slip away and let them go without a scratch in respect of your sister's request but the girl stays as an offer to hyung.”

“Baekhyun stop this bullshit!” Jimin roars slowly his nails grows long.

Baekhyun only chuckles. “Your lucky your Noona is too good to me for I can't say no to her asking me favors but please it has its limits I can't say no to hyung's orders kid so I'm compromising here for each party so hand over the girl and I'll let the rest of your friends go and even help them out of here, I swear.”

The werewolf beside Baekhyun barks as Jimin falls down the ground screaming in pain.

“Your changing kid, don't try to stop it, it's been years that you've keep yourself away from here its only normal for you to be... won't able to control yourself on changing.” Baekhyun stated as Jimin's body convulses. “Like Noona. ”
