Chapter 1
“So this is your flat!” the relator says. Moving to London was a unexpected decision made by my mother. My dad has been abusing her since he started drinking and he cheated right before we left at a local bar.
“So when do I start school here?” I asked in a uninterested tone.
“ Next week, you will be attending South Hampstead High School.” says my mother.
Im not excited at all, if its anything like back home, I dread it. Im usually a A honor roll student and have to keep up my grades if I want to continue to play softball. I wouldn’t call myself slender but I’m defiantly not fat.
Its 10pm so I head to bed. Changing into http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/app. My room isn’t complete yet but for now it will have to do. I stare at the One Direction posters all over my wall. Posters. My only friend here if you don’t include music. I start to tear up while listening to “Moments” and looking at me and my best friends, Katie and Aria.
Drifting off to the music I awake to the sound of my phone going off. Not attempting to see who texted I just look at the time. Its 3am so I shut my eyes trying to go back to sleep, I cant so I go down stairs to the kitchen when I hear my mom.
“Stop Tim.” She says playfully. I then hear a loud bang of someone getting pushed up against a wall. I peak around the corner and see my mom and “Tim” making out.
“Mom” I say in a edgy voice.
“Go back to bed sweetheart.” she says. I look on the counter and see a bottles of beet on the counter. I roll my eyes and head upstairs, going back to sleep in a matter of seconds.
