Same Mistakes

Chapter 5

I ran outside to see if Niall was still there and he wasn’t so I ran back inside. I bent down to check her pulse. 

“M-mom?” I said choking out the words. Tears streamed down my face. I called 1-0-1. It felt like a hour before they picked up

“Hello whats your emergency?” said the responder.

“Hi my mother is down on the floor with stab wounds in the side of her stomach. I need someone now!” I said screaming at the lady.

“Mam’ calm down help is on the way. Is anyone else in the house? How did this happen?” says the lady 

“I dont know for sure if anyone else is in here. I left to go get some coffee with a friend and then when I came back which was around 9:45 and Tim, some guy she meet was with her for dinner.” I yell franticly but leaving her with little understanding with what I said. “She has little pulse!” I start sobbing into the ladys ear. 

“Help should be almost there.” she says. I hang up, she was not very good at comforting. I call Niall, “Niall!” I yell sobbing. 

“Meia, babe whats wrong!?” he says very concerned. I look at my mother and choke out my words.

“Shes been stabbed! Come here now, I need you Niall!” I say laying on my mothers chest hearing her heart beat faintly.

“Im coming over. Just calm down.” he said soothingly. I start choking trying to hold back the tears but give in and I just let them stream. 

Just a few minutes later Niall and help is here. The ambulance and Niall take me out of the house. I bury my face into Niall’s chest trying to stay calm but I cant. 

“Niall” I said “If she dies I have nobody but you and Emma.” my knees go weak so we sit down on the bench.

“Dont think that way babe, everything will be alright.” he is trying not to cry himself.

NIALLS P*O*V* 

I gotta stay strong and not cry for her and her mothers sake. I sat her in my lap and cradled her in my arms. She squeezes my hand, but I dont mind. I already love her but its way to early to tell her that and in the situation she’s in right now it not the time to do it. 

“Is everything all right?” I said to the doctor. Meia gently lifts up her head.

“Yes it seems she will be alright for now but she has lost a lot of blood and about went into shock.” said the doctor rubbing Meia’s back. Getting a bit jealous, I glared at him.

“Will we be able to ride to the hospital with her?” said Meia grabbing her phone. I pull her in closer to keep her warm.

MEIA’S P*O*V* 

Im so scared for my mother. She’s the only thing to a friend I have here, besides Niall and Emma a partially Harry,Louis and Liam. I snuggle up closer to Niall, its freezing out here. A million thoughts are going through my mind right now.

“If you two are riding in the ambulance with her then come on.” says the driver. Niall sits me upright and kisses me then we walk over to the ambulance and hop in. I grab Niall’s and my moms hand. Speaking to her I come to tears.

“Mom, please don’t die. I need you, your the closest person I have here. Please dont let up.” I said then sobbing seeing all the tubes and oxygen masks put to her. Niall pulls me in closer trying to comfort me but we both know he’s not very good at it.

Finally arriving at the hospital we are directed into the waiting room. I walk in with puffy eyes and my hair is a complete mess, but I dont care.

“Everything is gonna be okay.” Niall says trying his best to calm me down. Instead of talking while sobbing I just nod my head, knowing everything is completely wrong.

After about waiting in the waiting room for about 3 hours the doctors let me and Niall go see my mom. 

“Oh my god.” I said looking at all the tubes and medical equipment hooked up to her. I look at Niall and see that he is on the phone with Harry and the boys. 

“Hey Meia, I called the guys and they will go a take you to get you stuff if you want to stay over night here.” he said. Trying to stay strong I managed to get a few words out.

“Yeah, thats fine” I said dumbfounded at the way my mom looked. 

A few moments later the boys came in one by one, with their girlfriends. They all hugged me and comforted me.

“Who is taking Meia to get her stuff?” said Niall wanting to stay with my mom. I was alright with that I needed some air away from here anyways.

“I will.” volunteered El. I looked at her and put on a fake smile. Its like she knew me forever because she knew I was trying not to show my pain.

“Ill go to.” said Danielle, walking over to hug me. I hugged her back and got teary eyed. 

Us three walked out of the hospital and drove El’s car. It was a silent car ride. I didn’t really want any conversation going on. We arrived at our flat. We all went inside they was complimenting the place I just nodded lamely. 

We came to the spot where my mom was stabbed. They both hugged me and we walk up stairs to my room. Grabbing http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=58072689 .

I run down stairs and back in to the car. Still wearing what I had on we go to El’s house and grab her and Dani some clothes http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=58073320 .

Heading back to the hospital I find Niall still awake by my mothers side. I couldn’t help but smile.

“Hey babe your back.” he said turning around a kisses me.

“Woah, are you two a thing?!” says El smiling. I laugh and nod. We go and change and I am the last one awake.

“Mom, if you can hear me I love you. I know you can make it through this. I know we can. I love you. Good night mom.” I say while heading over to the pull out couch snuggling up to Niall and drifting off to sleep.
