Narrator's POV

"Open this door right now!" Nami banged on the door to (Y/N)'s studio.

"..Go away..!" (Y/N) called from inside, muffled by the door and the pillow she laid under.

"If you don't open up I'm coming in!!" Nami threatened the artist once more, banging harder.

She heard the artist groan from inside once more, "You really don't want to come in here..!"

Nami huffed at this, growing irritated.

"I'm going to give you to the count of three."

(Y/N)'s POV

"1..." I heard Nami say in a loud, but calm voice.

I peeked out from under my pillow to look at the door.

"2..." She sounded more irritated. I looked around my cluttered and dimly lit studio, at all my art, even at all my failed pieces as well.

A sudden rush of anxiety shot through my body as I thought of all of it being destroyed by a door flying off its hinges. I flew up out of the small bed I kept in my studio for late nights, practically throwing myself at the door.

"N-No, it's fine, I-I'll let you in..!" I yell softly, if that's even possible, through the door.

"That's more like it." I could practically see her crossing her arms in annoyance at me through her tone.

I opened the door to see just that, she was even tapping her foot impatiently like I anticipated. I leaned against the door frame lightly, gazing at the navigator. She was wearing a dark cropped tank top with 'GOLD' bannered across her chest, a pleated white mini skirt, and her usual burnt orange sandals. She was breathtaking as normal.

Something I'd never admit out loud, but something I thought of often.

There was a small silence between us as she gazed back at my lack luster appearance at the moment.

"So was there a reason you threatened to break down my door?" I asked in a monotone voice.

Narrator's POV

(Y/N) has been locked up on her studio for weeks now, only coming out to eat a couple times a week as to not die. Nami knew she had depression, but it was never really this bad. She was concerned for the (H/C)ed artist. It had been eating away at Nami for days now.

"Well was there a reason you didn't want me in your studio?" Nami questioned (Y/N) back.

"It's kind of... messy in there, I just figured no one would want to come inside." (Y/N) crossed her arms as well, making herself comfortable against the door frame.

"Why do you sound like everything is fine (Y/N)?! You haven't been eating like you should and you haven't been around the rest crew in weeks! You even skipped out on exploring the island we landed at last week. I was counting on you to help me with measurements and paint some landmarks on my map.." Nami sounded hurt. (Y/N) frowned to herself, she felt a sting from the navigator's words.

"Look, I'm fine, I've just been kinda in a rut, and I've been busy. My art isn't like it used to be.." (Y/N) paused, looking back into her studio, "But I'm perfectly fine. Everything's oka—Okay my ass (Y/N)!" Nami interrupted her with a shout.
