I am very excited to share this mini series with you. This was an idea that i have been dying to work on ever since it fell into my head. Warning this story will become a lemon! Part 1 is merely the built up and every part after this will have something zesty. Note at the end will explain more.
How many parts will there be in this mini series ? Not sure. There may only be two parts or I may revisit to see what is happening in this world when King's Maze is giving me a hard time. I encourage you to read this part so you can understand the small journey I am putting you on and yes, Yugi does show up in this part and you don't want to miss it!. ;)

"Beautiful, simply beautiful." Crooned an older gentleman as he adjusted his dense round spectacles on his nose. He smacked his mouth as he lean to one side to get a better view of the flower that floated down in midair from its stem. "The color is exceptional, not to mention the how flawless the lip is."
"Lip?"
"Yes, lip, child, lip; I've told you about them. A lip is a special petal that an orchid uses to attract pollinators. Now come over here and have a look Y/N." The old man said as he waved over to a girl of ten. The girl walked over to the man she called grandfather and let him place her right in between him and the flowering purple orchids that sat on his work bench. The girl listen to her grandfather go on about the plant with a struggling interest. The old man knew that this is not how a child would want to spend a Saturday afternoon, but he hoped that his enthusiasm would stick. As he talked, he could sense the child's mind slipping away into a daydream and cleared his throat. The girl blinked with a slight shake of her head and gingerly peered up at her grandfather.
"Yes?" she said staring at him the way children do when they pretend, out of politeness, that what was just said around them wasn't boring them out of their mind. Her grandfather smiled at her and knew that there was only one way to embed his legacy into his grandchild's mind.
"Would you like a story Y/N?" His smiled widen when the child's face brighten at his offered. She may not have like his talks about these odd flowers that bloomed funny, but she loved her grandfathers stories. "The story I have in mind centers around an orchid."
"Grandpa, I want to hear your fairy stories."
"This is a fairy story." The old man chuckled. 'Who said that children were easy to trick?' he thought as he sat down on a stool still laughing at the frown the girl gave him. "But first, can you tell me how far these plants go back, Y/N?"
"Umm," the girl closed her eyes to search for her answer than popped them open saying, "26 to 112 million years old."
"That's right, and in those millions of years these plants split off into-"
"Grandpa,"
"Sorry, sorry, I'm forgetting I'm not in class," he laughed then drank from a water bottle nearby. He offered the bottle to the girl, but she shook her head and asked again for his story. Her grandfather had a gift for storytelling but was a professor at heart. 'He should have gotten a job telling stories than messing around in here with these plants.' Thought the girl as she sat in a stool across from him. "Now," he began as he moved his hands in the air to weave the tell before the girls eyes, "there once was a handsome king..."
There once was a handsome king who loved nature. He loved it so much that he began to dislike people and slowly distance himself away from his subjects to tend to his private garden. To win favor with him rulers from other countries would send him the rarest plants they could find, and it was in this garden that the young king cared for them. Though he cared more for his collection of plants than his people he still rule with a firm and careful hand and kept an eye on the borders of his kingdom. Not for the sake of the people but for the protection of the forest life that made up his home. Every morning after spending some time in the garden he would go out and stroll around to admire and collect samples from outside his city walls. It was on one of these strolls that a princess from a neighboring kingdom was hiding to catch a glimpse of the king. When she saw how true the rumors of his beauty were, she rushed back home and pleaded with her father to find a way to marry her to the young king.
