Song on Shuffle: Boom Clap- Charlie XCX

[Lizzy's Point of View]

"Rise and shine, sleepy head." Said a voice from the background. Bright light blinding me as I flipped to the other side, burying my face with my duvet to block both the sunlight and the voice.

"You cannot be late on your first day of school." The voice continued. I peaked through my duvet and found Lottie drawing the curtains apart and opening my window to allow fresh air. She is a morning person who loves her nature and fresh air unlike me. Plus wasn't she like at the party last night. She is a social butterfly. A week here and she already made friends with an employee in the candy store down the street. How can she have this much energy in her? And she was up before me! Don't get me wrong I love the outside and love the smell of fresh air but not when I am half asleep trying to catch up my lost minutes of beauty sleep.

Lottie was my second older sister. A total of 4 girls in the family. Emma, being the oldest. Settled in London with her high end clothing business. Then Charlotte, Lottie for short, who was 4 years older to me and two years younger than Emma. She has started her own entrepreneurial photography company. She loves capturing moments around her life. Be it natural picturesque sceneries, candid family moments or even random strangers on the street. She always has her DSLR camera with her. Claire is my younger sister. She is about 2 years younger and she the bookworm of the family. She loves her books. The typical bookworm. Glasses, messy bun, always wearing a tee with a geeky book reference prints on it. She may be the quite one but if you start speaking her language, you would want her to shut up. But I love her. I love all of them. They have been part and parcel in my life. The Christopers' Sisters.

Growing up, our parents were always on the move. I get why though, to provide a decent living and other expenditure. Don't get me wrong they might be packed with work during the day but they still took their time off during the day to correct us right from wrong. As the four of us have grown older they started expanding their company and spread across the country.  We see them less as often as we used to. We do have our family time during the nights or on occasion a Sunday off.

"Come on Lizzy, get up means get up! You cannot possibly miss another to get your 'mentality back'." she said  with her fingers doing air quotation marks.

"You have missed a lot of days from school." Lottie continued as she smacked my face with the pillow which had fallen on the floor.

"okay, okay! I am up! I can report you for child abuse you know" I groggily stated scooting of my bed and crawling to my bathroom. I am getting used to the fact I have an attached bathroom all to myself.

"I would like to see you try." Lottie snorted and left.

"Claire I hope you are up, I don't want to drag your ass like Lizzy. Also breakfast is ready." I heard Lottie's voice dissipate as she went down the  stairs.

"I would like to see you try." I heard Claire's muffled reply sarcastically.

Shaking my head as I am used to the daily banter, I started to brush my teeth and get ready for day 1 of school.

Well, She was right, I have missed a whole weeks worth of school this semester. I don't want to but  I need to. School has one of my main priorities. I am not a straight A student like how my sisters are. But I manage to maintain my average pass rate.

Like I said, I am getting used to my own room. We moved from Doncaster because of my parents' company. They are travel agents. The company headquarters moved and they decided to move half a country away from their original place, simply because of the commuting and well taxes and I don't want to get started on that.
