Chapter 11: Suspicions

After listening to Bai Yutang's words, everyone became immensely worried.

Although Zhan Zhao is a member of S.C.I., he is technically still considered as a member that focuses more on office work. Furthermore, this case is extremely tricky and hard to manage, so if there really is an organization that is following him, it would be incredibly dangerous. But everyone couldn't help but doubt: S.C.I had just taken over this case, and generally they have barely gotten anywhere in the investigation, so why would the culprit want to target Zhan Zhao?

Seeing how grim everyone's faces were, Zhan Zhao couldn't help but feel nervous as well. He asked Gongsun, "Gongsun, you seem to have not finished speaking?"

"Ah..." Gongsun regained his spirit and glanced over at Bai Yutang.

Bai Yutang nodded, signaling him to continue.

"When I checked the numbers behind the ears of Wu Hao and the other corpses, I had also figured out something interesting. This is why I said that the murderer is a pervert of the perverts!"

Everyone's full attention was once again on Gongsun.

"Everyone has eaten pork before, right?" Gongsun asked a question completely out of context, causing everyone to look at one another.

Bai Yutang nodded. "What do you mean by that?"

Gongsun went on, "Have you ever noticed that, after pork has been examined, there are usually blue stamps put on the skin that are really hard to wash off?"

Listening to the words Gongsun, expressions of disgust displayed on everyone's faces.

Zhan Zhao frowned. "Could it be..."

"Yes!" Gongsun disapprovingly said, "I have checked it over and over again, they are exactly the same! It is an edible stamp that are printed on raw pork!"

"This guy really is crazy and perverted, does he want to turn people into pigs?" Bai Yutang's face was perplexed.

"Boss?" Wang Zhao suddenly shoute. "What if the murderer is a pork butcher?!"

Zhang Long swallowed. "That...That's not very likely..."

Zhan Zhao shook his head and replied, "It should be impossible! From looking at the behaviors of this murderer, he has, to some degree, obsessive-compulsive disorder, which causes him to demand perfection and cleanliness."

Bai Yutang also nodded. "It makes sense. Let's just consider this as a clue. Zhang Long, go check where this print and color are sold tomorrow. Wang Zhao, go examine all the pork shops and pig farms!"

"...Ah?" Wang Zhao had an exasperated face. "Boss, that's not very nice of you..."

Bai Yutang glared at him. "That's why I'm telling you to go! If you can prove that he is indeed a pork butcher, I will buy you a car!"

"Really?? Boss! You better keep your word!" Wang Zhao ran away in excitement.

Zhan Zhao looked surprised and asked, "White mouse? Are you really going to?"

Bai Yutang shrugged. "I never said I'm going to buy him a real automobile car."

After the meeting ended, the group dispersed. Zhan Zhao stood up  and was suddenly dragged away by Bai Yutang. "Let's go!"
