You and Colby have been dating for around a year now but something was different about Colby, he wasn't as happy as he used to be, he had changed, he was a sad boy...

"Colbs, I gotta go to work now" you tell him. "no" he complains. "colby" you laugh "i'll be back" you tell him and give him a peak on the lips. "fine" he complains as you get out of bed. "what time will you be back" he askes you. "uhh... probley around 5? 5:30?" you tell him and put Leo on his bed. "dogy" he smiles and brings Leo next to him. you smile and get changed into⬇️

Whilst Colby continues playing with Leo you go to the bathroom to do your hair and makeup.
"Fancy seeing you here" Kat laughs as you walk in. "Fancy seeing you" you laugh and set your stuff down on Colby's side. "Your getting ready a bit late" she tells you. "I know" your reply getting your makeup out, "Colby woke up I was getting up and wouldn't let me go" you tell her. "Oh, Sam's still sleeping so I was good" she tells you. "Hmm" you sigh whilst setting your foundation and concealer "I feel like Colby isn't getting much sleep at the moment" you tell her whilst getting out your eyeshadow palette. "Is he still........sad" she asks softly. You nod and start applying your eyeshadow "some days I think he's getting better some days I feel like he's still down" you say softly. "Yeh, Sam's been saying the same" she tells you. "hmm" you nod. "Anyways you ready for Kansas" you ask putting your eyeliner on. "Yep, after work today I'll be ready to go" she tells you as she finishes her makeup. "Are your roommate looking after Kiwi" you ask her. "Yeh, Y/F/N looking after Leo" she asks. "Well, that's the plan" you tell her putting your eye makeup away. "Colby wants me to leave him here with Jake to look after him but I think I'm just gonna take him home and Y/F/N can" you tell her putting on contour. "Yeh, that's probably a better plan" she tells "Jake would end up forgetting" she laughed as she finishes her hair. "True" you laugh putting on your blush and highlight. "I'll meet you downstairs and we'll go together" Kat tells you. "Ok sounds good" you tell her as you finish your makeup and she leaves the bathroom.
You put your hair in 2 loose Dutch braids and go back to Colby's room to get your your bag and Leo. "Ok, I'm gonna need to take my dog home now" you tell Colby. "No, please don't take him back yet" he begs you as he hugs Leo tightly. "Colby I need to take him back so Y/F/N can look after him" you tell him. "No babe please" he begs you giving you puppy dog eyes. You could see tears forming in his eyes. "Colbs" you say softly going over to his bed and giving him a hug. "I really need him whilst your at work" he mumbles into your shoulder. "Colby what are you not telling me" you ask softly, "why are you so upset again, I thought you where getting better". "I don't know but dogs keep me sain" he tells you. "And me?" You ask pulling out. "Your gonna be at work" he tells you. "And..." you start "Sam has to edit and then he has a meeting" he cuts you off. "Colby can you just tell me what's bothering you so I can help you" you beg. "Later" he tells you "just please leave Leo" he begs. "Fine" you say picking up your bag and phone "I'll see you when I finish" you say and kiss him softly. "Bye" he tells you. "Bye" you say going to his door. "Love you" he tells you. "Love you too" you smile and leave his room closing the door after you.
You go downstairs to see Kat waiting in the kitchen. "You took your time" she tells you. "I know, I had to talk to Colby" you tell her. "Oh, ok" she replies. "Anyways lets get going" she tells you. "We can stop off at Starbucks on the way" she tells you. "Sounds good" you say grabbing your keys. "Wait, don't you need to take your dog back" Kat asks. "I do" you say "but I'm taking him back after b/c Colby likes his company" you tell her. "Ok, then let's go" she says and you head out to your car.
