chapter six

a few days later...

after Colby had uploaded his video he was getting a lot of love and support, but obvisley its social media so he was also getting hate and being called an attention seeker because he was "just faking"? or what ever they were saying. you and Sam had been helping him get his life back on track as well as trying to make sure that he was happy and ok. you had managed to get a few genuine smiles and laughs from him and every time it made you happy. you had all decided to take a trip to Kansas for 2 weeks so that the boys could see their families (by you all it means you, Kat, Sam and Colby). you and Kat were only planning on staying for a week but it all depended on Colby. Sam was gonna be with his family but was gonna go see Colby every 2 days are more depending on how he was. it was Friday today and you were all leaving to Kansas on Saturday afternoon. you had all decided to have a 'couples' night on Saturday night before going to see the boys families on Sunday.

You woke up in Colby's bed at 7:30am. his arms wrapped around you tightly. you tried to move them off you without waking him up so you could get up and get ready for work. you managed to get one arm off but as you were moving his other arm he woke up. "where are you going" he asked half asleep. "I have to go to work and drop Leo back at my house" you tell him moving his other arm. "no" he wined and pulled you into a hug "don't leave me" he complained. "Colby I have to work" you tell him taking his arms off you. "nooo, just stay and snuggle for a bit" he begged and pulled you back into a hug. "there's no point me trying is there" you sigh turning to face him. "nope" he said putting his head in the crook of your neck. "babe" you ask concerned at his action. "hmm" he replied. "look at me for a sec" you tell him. he does and you see his eyes are red and his checks are a bit tear stained. "Colby have you been crying" you ask concerned. "no" he lies "I've just been rubbing my eyes" he tells you. "Colbs I thought you were getting better" you tell him. "I am" he said whilst rubbing his eyes. "so why were you crying" you asked concerned. "It's nothing" he told you "I just had a bad dream". "About" you ask. You see his eyes tear up and he blinks them away. "I don't want to say" he mumbles. "Babe, I don't like seeing you so upset all the time" you tell him. "Ik, which is why I just want a hug" he tells you pouting. "I'll give you a hug whenever you need" you tell him as you hug him tight. "And whenever I want" you whisper into his neck. He hugged you tightly "I love you Y/N" he tells you. "I love you to Colbs" you smile.
