They say I'm a good child. And I am. I don't get into trouble. I follow my parent's advice. Y'ha know, they say "Parents know best" right?
I want to make their wishes come true from small to big things. For they've missed their chance just to give me a good future. I know how much they sacrifice and I know how much pain it is to stay in a relationship that they're weren't supposed to be in. I always hear it at the back of their door every night. I hear both of their cries.
I feel helpless for them. And as a good child that I am, I want to help. But I couldn't. See, I just love them so much that's why I always make sure to give them what they want for as much as I can.
Tonight they get into a fight again. And I clearly hear them say the thing that I'm not prepared to hear yet.
They say, they're better be off dead. They wish to leave than to live like this.
I love my parents.
And tonight, I know what to do.
For they say I'm a good child,
And I am.
