Chapter 25

Cheryl's p.o.v.

'' Is there anyone for Antonio Topaz ? '' Some doctor said walking throught the waiting room . I , Sweet Pea , Fangs , Jughead , Veronica , Archie , Kevin , Reggie and Betty all stood up quickly . The doctor scanned with his eyes all of us as we shouted 'me' . 

'' Any of you his family ? '' The doctor asked and Sweet Pea raised his hand up . 

'' How are you connected to him sir ? '' The doctor asked looking at Sweet Pea throught his fat glasses . 

'' He is my adopted brother '' Sweet Pea said the doctor nodded . '' Can I go too ? '' I asked still the tears sliding down my face as a waterfall .

'' I'm sorry but no . In hour or two one of you can go after his family . '' The doctor said I nodded my head and sit back down . I buried my face in Kevins shoulder as he tried to stop me crying but it was no use . 

'' T-he la-st thing when we t-alked in r-eal life w-as our f-ight over th-at stup-id da-ance . '' I said between little sobs which escaped my mouth . 

'' I know Cher , I know and I am so sorry I convinced you into doing it '' Kevin said and one tear escaped his eye . 

I just shook my head meaning no and continued to cry . 

'' Wait you guys had a fight ? '' Veronica asked me and I nodded my head . My head resting on Kevins chest as he played with his fingers on my shoulder . 

'' They did . He was hurt and angry by the fact that he was in the club when Cheryl stripped . He was angry that everyone looked at her like some meat ? When I got to those two in the morning I asked why they were fighting and he said I could fuck off and that what a friend I am to let her do this infront of those horny teens '' Kevin said looking down at his foots . 

'' I saw him there with Betty '' Veronica said with pitty in her voice . 

'' You what ?! '' I asked my head shooting up to look at her . 

'' Yeah we saw him looking at you and then the others . He was taking a lot of shots and then it looked like he would fall but Sweet Pea and Fangs catched him . '' Betty said looking down and playing with her fingers . 

'' Why you didn't warn me ? '' I asked with dissapointment in my voice . 

'' Sorry Cheryl we didn't know he was gonna argue with you about that . '' Veronica said and Betty nodded in agreetment . 

'' Cheryl you should go there . It's number 258 '' Sweet Pea said coming up to me . I nodded my head and started walking towards the door number 258 . 

'' 256 , 257 aha ! 258 '' I said mostly for myself as I was looking for the right number . When I walked in the room a doctor was the only thing I saw in my view . 

'' Miss I should tell you that he is in coma but he can hear everything you say he just won't answer but we think that he is trying to answer . He is a fighter '' The doctor said and I nodded my head while he walked out of the room . 

'' Hi baby '' I said while sitting down on the chair next to him . I grab his hand in mine and looked at his pale face . He has cuts and bruises . Bandage hiding all of his hair . He has black eye and swoolen lip . 

I cried there silently just looking at him and thinking for good ten minutes . 

'' I am so sorry . I should of been with you that day . I shouldn't of did the dance . If I wouldn't do it you would of been with me the whole day and nothing bad would happen to you . I am truly sorry for that all . But I know you . You are a fighter you won't give up on anything easily . For example the last football game in ocean city it looked like you should give up or you are bruised but you still went for it . I do believe in you so much so please don't stop fighting to get up . For me , for Sweet Pea and Fangs , for all of our friends who so much care about you . Please I'm begging you right here right now don't give up . '' I said with bigger waterfall going down from my eyes . 

*2 weeks later*

Toni is still in coma and still in hospital . After one week everyone convinced me to go to school and live that I will visit him after school . I agreed and now it is one week that I am going to school . 

It's 3pm and I am alone in the locker room after the River Vixens practice . I am just looking in the mirror when the door opened and Veronica came in . 

No one's p.o.v.

Veronica looked at Cheryl as Cheryls grip on the sink tightened a little . Curious Veronica started slowly walking to her . 

'' Are you okay Cher ? '' Veronica asked and touched slightly her back . She made small circles with her fingers on her back and Cheryl let out a huge sigh . 

'' I d-don't k-now an-nymore '' Cheryl said turning around to face Veronica . Cheryls mascara is running down . 

'' Hey I know it's hard but he is gonna be awake soon '' Veronica said and pulled Cheryl in big hug . 

'' That's o-only one of t-wo things that is both-ering me Roo-ns '' Cheryl said crying in Veronicas shoulder . 

'' What is it ? You know you can tell me anything '' Veronica said and Cheryl pulled slightly away. She has worry in her eyes which made Veronica worry about her red haired best friend . 

'' I think I-I missed my p-period '' Cheryl said sobbing and looking down . 

'' What do you mean ? You guys used all the time protection right ? '' Veronica asked and pulled Cheryl by her chin up so she is looking in her eyes . 

'' No . I mean yes we did but once when we were in the ocean city we were out and we didn't use the protection . I was meant to have my period a week ago and I missed it . '' Cheryl said and wipped away the tears on her face . 

'' Oh okay . That's alright we got this . We are gonna buy a pregnancy test and you are gonna use it now '' Veronica said and Cheryl nodded her head slowly both of them walking away from the school . 

'' Is that why you are not wearing anymore crop tops and stuff like that ? '' Veronica asked when they both sit in the car . 

Cheryl nodded and looked out of the window . Veronica started the car and drove away in the shop for pregnancy test .  

Toni is still in his bed . Still lying and not moving . In Tonis head is rushing too many of thoughts . In his head is rushing one memory from his childhood . 

He is 7 years old and his father is yelling at him that it is his fault that his mother left them and they don't know when she will come back . His father is abusive and even more when he is drunk . You can guess how he is right now . 

This memories of him and his father are rushing in his head for too long . He wants to get up so much . Every day he hears the soft voice of his girlfriend telling him to get up to not give up . He tries so much but nothing . He is trying to scream to wake up to open his eyes but all he does is nothing . 

''Ronnie I'm scared to look at it can you ? '' Cheryl said not daring to look at the test and handing it to Veronica while they both sit in the bathroom . Veronica nods her head and turned the test around to see that the pregnancy test says ...
