Chapter 9

Sweet Pea's p.o.v.

I held Toni as he closed his eyes and didn't respond .

'' come on we gotta get him in hospital asap '' I screamed at the other guys .

I picked him up and got him in Archies car . I am in the back seat with him while Archie drives and Reggie is in the passenger seat .

We arrived really quickly and I carried him in the hospital . Some doctors grabbed him and I just screamed at them to keep him alive .

'' sir you need to sit there and wait , we know it's not the best situation but you need to be strong for him '' some nurse said and I nodded my head while I sit in the waiting room .

Archie and Reggie both told me if I need anything but I told them to leave so they did . I am alone here waiting for my brother to get up .

'' is there someone for Antonio Topaz '' I would laugh about his name in any time but not right now .

I jumped up and said 'me' they nodded and let me to his room .

'' he is in room number 284 . He has few bruises on his ribs and back . His face doesn't look the best . He has black eye , stitched eyebrow , busted lip and bruised cheek but then he is fine and ready to go home '' the doctor said and I rushed to his room

I bursted into the room and saw him sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for someone to get him . '' hey Toni '' he gave me one little smile and nodded his head .

'' can you please get me home ? '' I nodded my head and drove him home .

I arrived with him in the garage and then unlocked the door . I opened it and went in Toni behind me .

Toni's p.o.v.

My face hurts . My ribs hurts . My back doesn't hurt that bad but still hurts .

We walked in the house and Marry greeted us . '' Hi boys how wa-'' Marry cut herself in half of the sentence and looked at me . I don't blame her I look terrible .

'' what happened to you sweetie ? '' she asked gently touching my face .

'' the old bullies from greendale who bullied Toni played against the bulldogs . He was their big target . But Toni managed even thought he was the target to do touchdown and help the team win . After that I was going to give him a ride it was raining . When I arrived at the parking lot I saw Toni in one ball on the ground and three guys beating him . Toni's two friends were fighting with the two others greendale people . I helped Toni in hospital they gave him painkillers and got him stitches and yeah that's it '' Sweet Pea explained and James went towards us .

'' that doesn't look well but I assume you don't want to talk about it if I'm right ? '' James asked looking at me and I nodded in responce .

'' so did you guys won ? '' James asked and I answered . '' yeah I got the last touchdown to win it was pretty hard cause I was also something like a bail because everyone from greendale was jumping on me '' I said and he nodded his head .

'' well thanks sweets for bringing Toni back home you can stay or go but Toni you go to sleep and rest for a little '' I nodded my head and mumbled 'thanks' to Sweets . Sweet Pea went back to his trailer and I went upstairs .

I got in the bathroom and slowly got in the shower . Even after the painkillers my body still hurts .

When I got out of the shower I pulled around my waist the towel and looked at myself in the mirror . I look horrible . I don't want to explain to everyone what happened to me at school on monday .
